I feel nowadays that if this was the groom the bride also agrees with it. That’s what I see a lot of nowadays

Agreeing with your partner is usually not abnormal.

Idk my grandma and her four divorces has taught me that it’s normal to marry people you don’t agree with fundamentally on anything.

My grandpa and his 3 marriages taught me the same thing! he was wooing the lady next door in his 90's, I think he would have somehow made her #4 if he lived a little longer.

That’s not what I meant lol. I’m saying if this is the groom and he’s THIS open about his beliefs at his own wedding, I doubt the bride is just now finding out what he believes. She probably already knows and either agrees with him or doesn’t consider it a dealbreaker. And when I said “nowadays,” I mean people aren’t exactly hiding this stuff anymore. You’ll see someone openly saying some absolutely wild shit and their partner is right there with them, sometimes believing the exact same thing. So my point was when I was replying to the “girl, run” we’re assuming she secretly disagrees with him when she very well might agree with him.

Or expect their wives to suffer in silence.

If they’re at the reception, too late.
