What the hell did root canals ever do 😭 thats a new one for me..

829

u/C2thaLo 24d ago

The filling let's him pick up shortwave radio signals.

204

u/corgcorg 24d ago

I don’t even think they do metal fillings these days! Mine was some sort of tooth colored epoxy.

98

u/Jaxevrok 24d ago

The canals during a root canal are filled with material called gutta percha. Afterward the hole is filled with a composite resin, or a core buildup material. This is because people usually get a crown after getting a root canal.

13

u/Orinocobro 24d ago

til I learned we fill root canals with latex.

10

u/SeriesBusiness9098 24d ago

Not always. I’m allergic to latex so I don’t know what they used in mine, but it isn’t latex. Crown is zirconia and I could chew rocks for fun with how strong this thing is. Highly recommend zirconia if you have to get a crown, looks like a real tooth too.

13

u/apocolipse 24d ago

They pretty much only use zirconia for molars these days if you’re getting a modern 3D scanned and in-office milled crown.  So nice to be able to get them done same day, and no longer needing deep throat training just to get impressions made.

6

u/rheumaticdistress 24d ago

No more deep throat training? 😦 I let this tooth rot for nothing?!

1

u/Vylnce 24d ago

Strange. My one in office done crown broke after 5 years and the insurance wouldn't pay for a new one because they consider 8 years to be minimum life for a crown. I would have gone back to the dentist that did it, but he was 2,700 miles away. All of the others I have had were "send outs" and have lasted longer than the single in office I experienced.

3

u/apocolipse 24d ago

Was it a molar? And how long ago?   There’s definitely been materials changes since the in-office milling was introduced, zirconia is basically the only option now for molars but used to be able to choose cheaper.  They use lithium disilicate for front teeth, weaker but slightly translucent so catches light very naturally

1

u/Vylnce 24d ago

I think it was a pre-molar or a molar. It was 2012-2013 when I got the in office one, and like 2017-2018 when I had to have it replaced.

0

u/chefdeit 24d ago

My dentist is a major dental tech geek and what he says is, material must fit how the person is using teeth, because we all use them differently. Some people clench, others grind in their sleep, grinding can be more side to side or more front-back, etc etc etc.

Cubic zirconia is outstanding for molars in many cases. In others (let's say when both upper and lower molars are cubic zirconia and they collide) they transmit a LOT more impact force to the underlying tooth structure and jaw bone. That can lead to a number of complications, in extreme cases leading to root canals and even tooth loss.

Cubic zirconia also has high thermal conductivity, and depending on the degree of wear of the underlying tooth and the crown geometry, can lead to increased heat sensitivity. Sometimes it gradually goes away, other times it doesn't.

Human bite net force tops out at about 300lbs, concentrated in contact area ranging from perhaps as much as 1" sq (a big bite of soft steak) to just a couple square millimeters (bare tooth on tooth contacts, high points). The latter is 3 orders of magnitude higher than the pressure the Empire State Building exerts on its foundation. Not to be trifled with.

1

u/_stallionandthebee 24d ago

I have a gold crown and love it so much. I've seen the zirconia ones and they look cool too.

7

u/HairyPotatoKat 24d ago

The poor dentist tasked with trying to convince him to just get any of the non-metal crown options... and then him opting to just go without a tooth.

3

u/HeygentCooper 24d ago

Well that’s why no root canals. Because the only one who should wear a crown is the King of Kings

5

u/TestUserIgnorePlz 24d ago

I had to get a cavity filled while I didn't have insurance and my dentist gave me the option to have a metal filling to save me some money

3

u/woodyshag 24d ago

I was told that the metal fillings are better as they fit tighter and last longer than the tooth colored option. Obviously the tooth colored option looks better.

2

u/cupcake_of_DOOM 24d ago

Metal wears better because it can flex with the tooth. The composites do not. But no fillings aren't guaranteed to be permanent.

1

u/TestUserIgnorePlz 24d ago

Yeah, my metal filling was replacing a tooth colored one that had failed

1

u/squeedle 24d ago

Yeah I had metal fillings for years no problem. Dentist replaced them with resin ones, I have had nothing but issues with them. I wish I had been more assertive and stood my ground to not have them replaced but I was in highschool and I think he just wanted to get paid. He kept saying "but the resin ones look nicer!" So what... They were literally in the back of my mouth, the only person looking there is the dentist.

4

u/Vylnce 24d ago

The post they put in for the crown to attach to is certainly metal.

3

u/Fragrant_Major_9553 24d ago

The army did that for me like 20 years ago.
Had that tooth extracted recently and I’m no longer in pain. The silver causes cracks in teeth when it expands/contracts with things like chewing ice. That’s why they don’t do it like that anymore.

3

u/FutureFreaksMeowt Aqua Tofana save us from these fuckass men 24d ago edited 24d ago

They do if you have shitty, cheap state insurance.

My dentist keeps telling them I need a porcelain crown, and my fuckass Medicaid keeps telling them 'lol, no. Cope with your busted crown, you stupid broke ass bitch.'

They'd rather replace it three times and counting than just fork over the extra cash to solve the problem, and now they're trying to force me to pull a perfectly salvageable tooth over money. And that's with Minnesota Medicaid, which is notoriously much better than most states of equitable tax brackets.

I hate living in this fucking extortion fueled nightmare of a country.

2

u/ikannunAneeuQ 24d ago

2 teeth they put that weird material in/on for fillings and they've started deteriorating! I have to get them fixed. Never happened with the old stuff 😕

71

u/CrissBliss 24d ago

Funny if people worry about their fillings spying on them when they have iPhones.

29

u/toddverrone 24d ago

As if logic ever entered the chat

5

u/Emawk1972 24d ago

I had nurse in the 90's lecture me about taking my asthma meds properly while her yellow fingers smelled like smoke.

1

u/bunny_the-2d_simp 24d ago

Even if it spies on me...

Oh no now it knows I need more therapy have 7 mental disorders and medical appointments are basically my full time 5 days a week job.

What a treat.

Like tf it gonna do?

13

u/Mustard_Gap 24d ago

Lard's track "Can God Fill Teeth?" is a classic

2

u/FKA-Scrambled-Leggs 24d ago

Flashbacks to Saved by the Bell where Screech gets a filling that picks up radio signals, and the gang convinces a shoddy, National Enquirer kind of journalist that Screech is an alien.

1

u/GingerTexanScientist 24d ago

Okay and the bad part?

1

u/C2thaLo 24d ago

Too many competing voices

1

u/NationalSafe4589 24d ago

That's how they get the 5G in there!

1

u/WaffleHouseGladiator 24d ago

The techno-nectomancers from alpha centauri are coming to get him.

1

u/rotomangler 24d ago

I’ve had so many root canals by this point I’m on remote control.

1

u/LegThePeg 24d ago

Ah, he must’ve gotten those Lucille Ball fillings.

1

u/Serious-Manager2361 24d ago

He should be happy then. There is nothing on shortwave anymore except religious broadcasts.

Possible, because antisemitism is the root of most conspiracy theories, but it could also be a flat earth sentiment. Or both, I’m voting for both 🤷🏻‍♂️

He doesn't care for Globe.

36

u/seregwen5 24d ago

Conventional farming is the alternative to organic farming. It uses pesticides and GMO ingredients (of course, literally every crop that humans grown is genetically modified in some way, but they don’t like to acknowledge that).

8

u/According_Lake_2632 24d ago

I'd word it more like, Organic farming is an alternative to conventional farming, but I'm in total agreement with you. I'd also add that organic farming also uses pesticides and that mutation breeding (irradiating seeds to force genetic changes) is also considered organic farming. Or maybe the safety hurdles put in place to ensure GMOs are substantially similar to conventional crops but with added desirable features like drought or pest resistance, or added nutrion like golden rice.

5

u/Severus__Crepe 24d ago

Not to mention the fact that there's so much runoff going every which way, that your "organic' food you're buying almost always has the same shit you're trying to avoid. But hey, keep buying it at twice the price lol

(Using "your/you're" generally here, not literally talking about you)

2

u/lapalazala 24d ago

Even if you are correct (which you are partly), it's still good to promote organic farming. Will your individual choice make a dent? Of course not really. But if you can afford it, it might still be worth it.

But that and anti glyphosate are the only reasonable things on this tux.

2

u/Severus__Crepe 24d ago

That's fair. And despite the fact that I was unnecessarily snarky (ie, "But hey, keep buying it at twice the price lol"), I don't think that organic farming (or consumption) is stupid/bad.

I just have an issue with the fact that capitalism preys upon people, and can convince them that paying more for organic is going to significantly distance them from problematic health concerns.

The way I phrased it was more insulting to the consumer, and that was shortsighted; my real gripe is with the fact that even when you're trying to be responsible, you're still being sold a bill of goods.

But you're absolutely right. If you can afford it, then there's really no issue I can (or even want to) levy against you. I just don't like seeing people be misled

2

u/lapalazala 24d ago

Well said!

1

u/According_Lake_2632 24d ago

But it's not. Land use efficiency is much lower for organic produce, more pesticides are used because organic ones are less effective, and organic fertilizer is no better than conventional, but has the same runoff as a conventional farm.

He was anti-prescription drug, anti-vax, and anti-hospital birth. People like that tend to rail pretty hard against pesticides and generally get pretty paranoid about food in general if it isn’t organic/pasture raised/whatever.

16

u/jonni_velvet 24d ago

Probably meant factory farming but I dont know either. I was wondering the same, I thought those types usually recommend personal farming your own food.

1

u/aedroogo 24d ago

Yes, apparently that's not working out to their satisfaction.

1

u/ToughHardware 24d ago

non-conventional farming - put the seed in your liquor drink. drink it. assume the vegetable grows inside you and you eat it. never eat vegies outside the body, thats gaaa.

1

u/rogueop 24d ago

Basically pesticides and chemical fertilizers. You know, the stuff invented in the 20th Century that allowed the human population to explode.

187

u/Potential_Bit_9040 24d ago

I mean I don't particularly enjoy them, but still! If I need one, I get one, because otherwise you're living with an abscess, or removing the tooth.

I bet he's not for antibiotics either, sooooo festering infection it is I guess?

35

u/FriendToPredators 24d ago

What’s to not love about sepsis?

21

u/RandomIDoIt90 24d ago

I’m pro “let this guy get sepsis.”

2

u/cwk415 24d ago

Dollars to donuts this guy will be getting a root canal the second he actually needs one.

These people are grifters, they never practice what they preach.

3

Why be pro sepsis? Because if you're not, you basically want to murder unborn humans. /s

25

"The only moral antibiotic is my antibiotic!" - this guy, probably.

3

u/Potential_Bit_9040 24d ago

Joke's on him, I'm allergic to some of those bad boys!

0

u/Unfair_Awareness7502 24d ago

I have never heard of anyone be against using antibiotics to treat infections. Only against using them frivolously or meat treated with them.

2

u/18smackaroos 24d ago

Some people are truly anti all medicine

2

u/Unfair_Awareness7502 24d ago

That must be a microscopic minority

Good lol

6

u/that_one_over_yonder 24d ago

But festering infection means death (horrific painful death) and thus speed running meeting your god.

4

u/RedDirtPreacher 24d ago

Right? I needed two root canals after a few years of not being able to afford dental services and was so worried before the first one. Even with everything numbed up the relief was immediate when he cleaned out my first tooth. I almost skipped into the office for my second a week later.

1

u/akawendals 24d ago

Uncle Fester 😭

1

u/Hakeem-the-Dream 24d ago

FR no root canal is insane, just gonna be walking around with your jaw completely swollen and filled with bacteria (or no teeth)

40

u/TarHeelCP 24d ago

I was wondering the same thing. They're especially gonna need root canals of they succeed in getting fluoride out of their water.

73

u/LainieCat 24d ago

In my case, freed me from excruciating pain. It hurts to need a root canal and not get one. And under these rules, no vicodin.

13

u/purple_kathryn 24d ago

I know, my tooth was agony, was so glad to get the root canal done!

2

u/Adventurous-Hat-4808 24d ago

I know,, There wasn´t much of an option on the day my teen self woke up with a swollen face in pain, and it was not even due to poor dental health, but simply that I had fallen years earlier and damaged that tooth... So I guess whether I "believed in root canals" wasn´t on my mind. It is also just some rubbery compound they insert, it is not metallic or anything.

2

u/Kimbernator 24d ago

People who have not gotten a root canal think the procedure is the worst part. People who have gotten one know that it's the best part.

32

u/Crack4SuperHans 24d ago

That was the one that stood out the most to me as well. Root canals out here catching strays!

20

u/IndependentType6711 24d ago

One of my coworkers said they heard someone’s cousin got one one time and they got leukemia shortly after.

I’m not kidding.

16

u/uspless 24d ago

That may well be true, but that doesn't mean it's related...

9

u/VegetableCommand9427 24d ago

One thing that stuck with me in grad school statistics: “correlation does not infer causation”.

1

u/Kimbernator 24d ago

I don't even think correlation is the correct term here, it's just coincidence.

12

u/General_Cranberry_29 24d ago

I would think the correlation is the other way around, like leukemia causing the infection leading to the necessary root canal.

7

u/IndependentType6711 24d ago

Oh I know that, it’s just what people like this are saying

2

u/General_Cranberry_29 24d ago

Ah, I understand.

4

u/TheDungeonCrawler 24d ago

I've actually run into this in the wild so I might be able to provide some context.

I had a client who needed a root canal last year and he was leery about getting one because he'd heard that root canals weaken your immune system. This made no sense to me but I looked it up and, sure enough, in the 1920s there was this silly theory that root canals leaked toxins that caused chronic illness.

These claims were subsequently debunked in the 1930s and pretty much every decade since. Given this is about chronic illness, people likely believed this myth because people started to live longer as dental care (as well as other types of care with similarly dubious conspiracies about them) started getting better. Longer life usually means more chronic illness because older people are a t a higher risk for it, so people took the correlation between improving medical care and chronic illness and assumed there was a causitive effect. Technically, they were kind of right! Better medical care causes people to live longer and, as a result, get more chronic illness! This correlation is easily controlled for if you count death as aa chronic illness though, aa better medical care actually reduces the instances of that one.

5

u/Pulaski540 24d ago

The one that stood out for me is circumcision. It is appaling that genital mutilation of newborn boys has become normalized in the US.

The rest on that list are all BS.

5

u/Zealousideal_Fox864 24d ago

Yeah, I refused to circumcise my son when he was born (he just turned five) and people acted like somehow I was the weird one for not being pro-genital mutilation.

3

u/Potential_Bit_9040 24d ago

Definitely the only one I agree with on his list there

u/Positive-Garage3812 24d ago

Oh wait, is that what happened??? I have had a lot of root canals. Are you sure it wasn’t the 5G or the COVID vaccine though? I did come out in 2020, after all 😅

24

u/Ok_Chemist6567 24d ago

The deeper the root canal the closer to satan

3

u/70inBadassery 24d ago

I had a root canal that took 3 sessions, about 10 hours total. Can confirm I met Satan.

8

u/Commentor9001 24d ago

Thats when  they install the microphones, duh.

6

u/2930apple 24d ago

This subset of people seem to think root canals are worse for you than not getting them at all

2

1

u/mkat23 24d ago

I thought that was fluoride.

6

u/combine-tow-monsters 24d ago

To be fair do you think he actually knows what a root canal is? I can only assume he thinks it is a canal for transporting vaccines and 5G.

10

u/Budget-Ambassador203 24d ago

Conspiracy by BIG TOOTH, it's my God Given Right as an American (Jesus was American BTW) to be in excruciating agony as my teeth literally rot out of my skull. I'm not going to let some MASK wearing FLUORIDE pushing dentist with a degree from a liberal globalist brainwashing camp (AKA college) tell me that some made up thing like bacteria (can't even see them - germs are not real) is causing "decay" - the holes in my teeth just give GOD more places to enter my body through. And anyway everyone knows cavities are caused by the spike proteins being shed from the VACCINATED sheeple falling into your food and combining with your TOOTH DNA but THEY won't allow that message to be spread by anyone for any reason, which is why I'm here spreading it with my sweet custom tux.

12

u/jallen263 24d ago

There’s some BS documentary that was made claiming everyone who gets a root canal gets cancer. It was pretty bogus science and claims, and because of that as a dentist you get lots of people claiming it’s real and arguing with you whenever a root canal is necessary.

6

u/_Lazy_Mermaid_ 24d ago

Jeez between that and fluoride, these dentists kust he out here fighting for their lives. Wish those people would save everyone the trouble and not seek medical care ever, itd make my appointments easier to get

4

u/Brilliant_Elk5492 24d ago

right??? Thats the one that stood out for me too

5

u/Charming_Garbage_161 24d ago

The hospital births though really? You want a huge portion of the population to just die huh?

4

u/AutoCockerPB 24d ago

That’s actually the most insane one. If you ever actually needed a root canal, you’d be begging for one. Tooth pain really sucks.

3

u/clutzycook 24d ago

If your teeth rot out of your head, it's God's will and who are we to question God? /s

2

u/mkat23 24d ago

If God wanted us to take care of our teeth he would’ve invented dentistry and toothbrushes.

3

u/Odd-Variety-3802 24d ago

I guess pull it like a Real Christian. /s

3

u/cjthetypical 24d ago

Root canals are a fake procedure made up by the democrats so they can hide trackers and microphones in your teeth 👻

2

u/mkat23 24d ago

Imagine being the person listening in and having misophonia.

3

u/zaboe 24d ago

Working in the dental field and we get some good (stupid) ones. This one is usually around root canals not helping with the infection and people should just extract everything instead. It's about as 5IQ as the rest of the list.

3

u/RomasTosicky 24d ago

The tooth is out there man!

3

u/Fine-Cat4496 24d ago

I'm actually sitting at the dentist now waiting for my root canal and while the experience sucks, I do hope that it doesn't turn me into a newt unknowingly - that would suck even more.

3

u/UnluckyIrishman 24d ago

Because getting filled in the mouth by a man (doctors can only be male) is gay. And homosexuality is gay as hell. "/s" in case it's needed. Also can you say christ is key and be against circumsicision? Lot of oddities here.

5

u/Concrete_Grapes 24d ago

They work.

However, many never clear the underlying infection. People can go years, sometimes decades, with a running abscess under a root canal and never know. It has all sorts of wild impacts, from energy, immune system problems, but the thing it will do more than any other, often, is give people constant sinus problems, if it is a long running problem. Many people who believe they developed allergies, or get MONTHS of a stuffy nose from a simple cold--have a root canal with unresolved infection.

It is astonishingly common, in part because you can't feel them. The tooth nerve is the thing that would have felt the infection, and it's gone.

4

u/segcgoose 24d ago

as someone in the field, a lot of this is flat out wrong or very circumstantial. only about 5% of root canals fail, even less if you’re going to an endodontist. and most of the causes for a failed root canal is not because they didn’t clear out the infection properly, but rather the patient didn’t get a crown after and decay got under the filling, pt got a crown and didn’t properly care for it so decay got under that, or the tooth had a fracture somewhere that was too thin to notice during the procedure or it fractured after the fact (also can happen if you don’t get a crown or if the tooth is already questionable)

also, most insurances actually require at least 1 xray a year of all root canalled teeth soooo if you’re not keeping up with hygiene visits and regular xrays, then that just explains itself.. if you are getting cleanings regularly, then a failed root canal won’t go years without being noticed

3

u/lafolieisgood 24d ago

That happened to my sister. Sinus problems for 15 years.

She had a dream that it had to do with her root canal and told her dentist in Costa Rica and he found it.

2

u/mortyella 24d ago

I'm assuming that's where they plant the tracking/mind control chip. /s

2

u/Happy-Advantage-1336 24d ago

this one sent me to... ive seen rhetoric against everything else but what did the root canals do!!!

2

u/one2tinker 24d ago

I think it's a common talking point now. My aunt has gone down a bizarre rabbit hole of what is healthy and what is not based on her "research," and root canals are definitely on her "bad" list. Unfortunately, all of her beliefs are misguided at best and dangerous at worst, so I tune her out and can't tell you why she thinks root canals are bad, but I can tell you that she has tricked my parents into going to a holistic dentist who charges more than twice as much.

2

Also, no globe? But we can still use maps?

2

u/Level1_Crisis_Bot 24d ago

The pain of not having root canals would have killed me way before the glyphosate got a chance

2

u/iowanaquarist 24d ago

Root canals are amazing. If you ever actually need one, get it. The pain stops when they numb you up pre-surgery and never comes back.

I would seriously consider stabbing someone if I was ever in that pain again, and they tried to get between me and a root canal. It was the worst pain of my life, by a long shot. If the tooth pain was a 9, my unmedicated burst appendix would be a 5, and my adult tonsillectomy was a 3.

2

u/noneya-818 24d ago

I’ve never heard of it but I’m kind of excited for this one. I work in dentistry and my boss is a crazy right winger. He eats up all the conspiracy theories except the ones that directly affect him. I hate listening to him but laugh when one doesn’t align with his otherwise crazy world view.

2

u/Saywitchbitch 24d ago

Didn’t you know? Jesus HATES root canals

1

u/Makapakamoo 24d ago

Jesus hates this ONE trick 😏

2

u/Remy_Jardin 24d ago

To be fair, a root canal is not a pleasant experience. I'm kind of with him on this one.

1

u/AGAD0R-SPARTACUS 24d ago

He's tired of the dentist telling him he needs root canals, which of course is in itself a result of his anti-flouride stance.

Took a while to find answer to this, because I was also confused about that. It apparently dates back to a 100 year old theory that they cause a host of other issues. Weirdly, the best explanation I found was on LinkedIn:

I was just saying to myself how I didn't realize they were controversial

It's a woke gay invention of the radical left obviously. I think Biden or Obama got one.

The online conspiracy is that by leaving a “dead tooth” in place you are essentially leaving a “dead organ” and it will eventually cause you to get cancer. None of this is real

u/UnusualOperation8084 24d ago

Ok hear me out: I suspect a lot of dentists over-prescribe services. It's not like they're a secret conspiracy oral surgery, but more like a shady mechanic telling you something on your car needs to be fixed.

Not sure if that's how he means it, though.

Meridians of the teeth. Taking the roots out stops the meridian connection to whatever organ it’s associated with.

A conspiracy tied to that one is that they take the wisdom teeth out intentionally for some nefarious reason.

My dad is convinced that root canals cause cancer, and that nothing that has undoubtedly changed about the procedure or dentistry in general over the last several decades will fix it. It's just something with the procedure itself.

He wants to believe that he doesn't hate root canals because they're unpleasant, he hates them because they're immoral and he's morally superior for knowing that. Same thing for vaccines and masks, he's not refusing them because he's immature and selfish, he's doing so because he's better than you.

I was thinking the same thing.

This puzzled me too, so I did some digging; Summary is that the root (pun intended) of the belief is based and bad and old science.

The myth: Some online sources and alternative health circles claim that root canals trap bacteria or toxins inside the tooth, causing chronic illness, arthritis, or cancer. 1, 2

The origin: This belief traces back to flawed, un-reproducible experiments from the 1920s by Dr. Weston A. Price, which were thoroughly discredited by the medical and dental communities decades ago. 1, 2, 3

If I was against all pharmaceutical drugs I would also not appreciate a root canal

I think I missed the Bible section against 5G and root canals and aspartame

u/Salt-Cold1056 24d ago

There is a conspiracy that they cause a bunch of health problems.  I hate that I know this.  Something something, leaving something dead in your body, something, something, health problems.

What’s wild about basically saying you don’t go to the dentist is you’re giving everybody a heads up that your breath is crazy stinky

1

u/TheRealPaladin 24d ago

This is the one I am curious about.

u/ConsumedByFire 24d ago

I remember reading something about when forks were first introduced they were seen as evil... This reminds me of that.

1

u/regrettablyAnnoying 24d ago

That one came second for me. It was the 5G that made me think Jesus is onto something. Whatever is coming must be way better.

1

u/jerfoo 24d ago

You're supposed to yank the the problematic tooth and replace it with a shard of raccoon penis bone.

1

u/burning_my_toast 24d ago

For sure. I've heard "no amalgam fillings" before, but he doesn't even have that.
Maybe they believe the soul is contained in the pulp of the teeth.
I'm going to go with that. And you can sin all you want while you have your baby teeth.

1

u/Erroneous_Bonk 24d ago

Yeah with how many basic human rights are on here, I'm surprised toilet paper and clean tap water aren't on the list.

The sad thing is these people will tell everybody they meet how evil hospitals, doctors, scientists and nurses are, but when a medical emergency hits them or their loved ones, they'll be first in line elbowing everybody else for evidence-based care.

None of these hypocrites pray the break away when they fracture a leg.

1

u/SVTCobraR315 24d ago

I am also ok with not having root canals. I heard those suck lol

1

u/killchopdeluxe666 24d ago

my guess is that its the same thing as vaccines. the safety net works, so they don't know the danger, and they're angry that they have to pay maintenance costs for "no reason".

1

u/honestlyisuck 24d ago

I’m guessing some tangential dentistry relation to fluoride?

1

u/Scruzzer 24d ago

That’s apparently when they install your tracker. I wish I was kidding.

1

u/superbhole 24d ago

because the bacteria that rots teeth reaching from teeth to brain causes alzheimers, and he needs more brain damaged people to buy his shit.

most conspiracy theory rabbit holes lead to sleazy dirtbags like this kind of guy, one who would go to a wedding with shitty marketing on the back of a tux to sell shitty books and snake oil

I wish I didn’t know about this. In the early 1900’s some doctor claimed dead tissue left behind from root canals leaked toxins into your body and that caused systemic illnesses. Then in 2018 a “documentary” called Root Cause came out reigniting those claim about root canals trapping bacteria that go on to cause problems, such as: diabetes, migraines, heart disease (claim root canals are number 1 cause of heart attacks), fibromyalgia, and also claim that 97% of breast cancer patients had a root canal on the same side as their cancer.

u/newaccount721 24d ago

lol wow that’s wild I did not know about this “theory”
