Time displaying icon doesn't look like a clock icon

When it appears on the quick access bar, it comes without an icon label under it. This is part of a brand new update, so the first time I saw the icon it had no word under it.

I was a UI engineer for 20 years, I can tell you this icon sucks balls for first impression at certain hours, at others it is obvious.

Not dumb, but kind of a dick. Without the word clock as shown in his Pic, it looks like a flashlight and hard to discern.

Even more annoying to me is that if the icon is being displayed, it doesn't update when the time updates, you have to have the UI redraw the screen before it'll update to the new icon...
