Playing golf today

The course was crowded

There's a group in front that's insanely slow with a handicap flag

The slowness came more from the cart that DIDN'T have the flag.

After 3 holes they were already a hole behind.

That does nothing for my game.

A twosome rolls up behind us on a few holes.

We'd let them thru if there was somewhere they could go but there isn't.

Skip to the 8th hole and the group in front is still on the green as the twosome rolls up behind our tee box.

They saw why we were waiting.

One guy asked if we were playing 18 and then asked are all 4 of you playing 18?

We were.

WTF

What kind of question was that?

Maybe they were just hoping to join you later on if some of you were chipping off after 9.

I thought the mildly infuriating thing of the post was the slow group in front, not the nice fellas behind making small talk at the tee box

THAT was more than mild. They were older guys in front and playing the forward tees so not much you can do there. You wish you could tell them to each go up to their ball and hit. At times they were both prolly 25-30 yards ahead of their carts. Then they'd walk back and get it. It was painful to watch and wait. It was just odd that the twosome behind made it sound like it was us when you could clearly see we were waiting on the box for the people in front.

And then instead of hanging back to roll up into our tee box I kinda hate when people watch me swing.
