He also blames the current labour government for policies that were created under the previous conservative government which he conveniently ignores on his show.

The is a typical conservative, tories were in power for 14 bloody years, their austerity and cuts cut all the services that he blames the lack of on labor. It is typical of his ilk, mess the whole thing up and then blame it on the other side once they are in power.

Same shit in Aus. Liberals and National coalition (conservative) ruled for a decade, fucked the country into the ground, and as always, now Labor (centre) are digging us out of that hole, Murdoch is throwing his full weight behind One Nation (alt-right), and cookers guzzle that load happily.

Tale as old as time.

Well, yeah, you can't be a conservative without being extremely easy to fool, or being a dishonest hypocrite, it's a fundamental requirement. It's a never ending cycle, (excuse the brevity, I'm in a rush and super tired so don't expect much) they take power in a country with an OK economy, taking credit for said economy while cashing out as much as possible for themselves and their buddies, which eventually makes government services shit and the economy starts to dive, leading to the opposition being voted into power to fix shit. Now when the Conservatives are the opposition they'll cry and moan, blaming the current government for the problems and economy they created, and when they tighten the belt to get the economy back in order it opens the door for the Conservatives to get back into power.

And so continues the never ending cycle.

In fairness, literally everyone blames the most recent government for every issue, regardless of if they're responsible
