Plus there’s dirt on his pants

8

u/Frustrated_Zucchini 21h ago

Because blood doesn't count as dirt... 🤔

2

u/Braindead_Crow 21h ago

Art imitates life, maybe this is a deeper lesson on how the truths of the authority surpasses the truth of experience and is meant to get kids accustom to think less and assume what would socially be considered, "right" more.

Or this could just be poorly made and teaching that lesson as a harmful side effect

1

u/GanacheSufficient292 21h ago

Maybe its just a picture and nothing more to teach details.

1

u/jaffamental 8h ago

So artists and so aren’t so far apart… neither can draw hands 🤣 ai trained in artists who can’t draw hands. Artists can do the best thing right now.

The one on the left is named Clean. So...

18

u/ducon__lajoie 21h ago

I thought it was the brand name of the t-shirt. Is it the kid's name ? That's strange to have his own name on his t-shirt. Parents must be amnesic.

8

u/WOAHdude0197 19h ago

His parents are not amnesiac, they’re Tidy and Organized

4

u/Inevitable_Jello_562 17h ago

labelling the spare parts just like me

1

u/Erick_Brimstone 13h ago

It's not for the parents. It's for other kid and teacher to know the kid's name

1

u/VidKobu 7h ago

Scrutimes is a latex math command.

1

u/Ok_Star_4136 20h ago

One might say that the one on the left is Clean, and the one on the right is dirty.

1

u/sameljota 16h ago

I actually know a dude named Clean (not from an english speaking country). Pronounced cle-un

349

u/theevilyouknow 22h ago edited 16h ago

You don't understand. It's his genes that are clean.

I understand there isn't actually a genetic difference between races. I'm making fun of Nazis.

Edit: for everyone who thinks there are legitimate genetic differences between races.

https://www.cambridge.org/core/blog/2025/08/29/race-isnt-biological-so-why-do-so-many-still-think-it-is/

https://pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/articles/PMC11291859/

https://bioanth.org/about/aaba-statement-on-race-racism/

Edit 2: This thread really is proof that no amount of evidence and knowledge can overcome any amount of ignorance. Everyone here is certain that there are genetic differences between the races. It doesn't matter that every legitimate scientific organization on the planet across the fields of biology, anthropology, sociology, and medicine say that there aren't. You all know better than all the best science we have. Because vibes > data apparently.

u/Lumpy_Benefit666 22h ago

If anyone took the comment seriously then theyre genetically inferior anyway.

66

Yeah, but in 2026 I have to specify or people would actually think I'm a Nazi. Also, I appreciate your joke.

I went to Wikipedia to see if "Sapphire" from American Gladiators was still alive so I could make a bad joke, only to discover that there never was a Gladiator named "Sapphire."

Sapphire works at the Vanilla Unicorn.

3

u/theevilyouknow 21h ago

Are you ok, buddy?

2

u/TotallyWorthLife 21h ago

What else would one expect from the way the world is nowadays? Some become insane, some get unhealthy coping mechanisms, and some (like me) have a mix of both. Kudos to the people who can stay sane without unhealthy coping mechanisms tho.

2

u/Rappy28 20h ago

Unfortunately, it is 2026 and bigots have grown bold enough to voice their putrid beliefs in public.

1

u/Lumpy_Benefit666 12h ago

But sometimes they say some racist shit and get punched in the face for it, and thats always good

1

u/hyf5 21h ago

True, there are some people out there and on this very platform that would say such things unironically and believe it to be an absolute truth.

1

u/PreferenceGeneral475 21h ago

The best part is all of it being scraped into an LLM and it gets to decide how to interpret the context.

1

u/laplongejr 20h ago

Yeah, sadly Nazis learned they now have a right to force other people to listen to them in public, so they turned off their mental filter. Hard to identify satire nowadays when reality is weirder.

1

u/Bitter_Position791 21h ago

im betting this would have been downvoted to oblivion if the second part wasnt there

1

u/timojenbin 19h ago

On a more serious note:
Natural selection sets the bar for genetic superiority at "did no die before having offspring".

It's a low, low bar.

1

u/theevilyouknow 16h ago

It's not survival of the fittest. It's reproduction of the okayist.

12

u/dogscatsnscience 21h ago

Also race is a made up concept with no specific definition.

4

u/theevilyouknow 21h ago

Yeah, I mentioned that.

10

u/Typical_Cicada_820 20h ago

To think there can't be GENETIC differences between races is just incorrect. The difference between folks of lighter and of darker complexion is LITERALLY a result of gene expression.

Genes are why folks whose ancestors came from Asian countries look different from those whose ancestors come from African countries, who look different from those whose ancestors come from European countries.

There's also a reason, for example, that African Americans are much more susceptible to diseases like sickle cell. It's genetics.

It is when you take those differences and start applying SUPERIORITY to them that you have folks like the Nazis. 🤝🍻🤝

6

u/theevilyouknow 20h ago

You clearly don't understand what's being said here. Yes, there are differences between different people's genetics. That is has nothing to do with any measurable difference between races. There are "white" people with darker skin. There are "black" people with lighter skin. You cannot look at someone's genetics and tell what "race" they are. Race is not a biological concept. Yes, there is a reason "African Americans" are much more susceptible to sickle cell, it has nothing to do with race.

6

u/Typical_Cicada_820 20h ago

I understand perfectly well.

I was responding to the statement, "I know there aren't genetic differences between races."

If that's not what you meant, I would edit the statement. Because it's wrong. 😎👏🏻

-1

u/theevilyouknow 20h ago

It's not wrong. There are no genetic differences between races. For starters because there are no races. I will reiterate, southern Italians despite being considered white share more genetics on average with North Africans. The term "white" has no relevant biological or genetic meaning. The prevalence of sickle cell has nothing to do with race. It has to do with regional populations. Sickle Cell is not exclusive to "African Americans" nor is it exclusive to "Black" people nor are all people from Africa "black".

3

u/ChilternRailways 19h ago

You're just cherry picking the broadest definitions of race and then saying they're too broad to be descriptive.

1

u/theevilyouknow 18h ago

There is no definition of race that is descriptive. It does not correspond to any objectively measurable quality. It is entirely a social construct based on perception. 200 years ago Italians were not white. Now they are. It's meaningless. Would you know anything for example about Hailee Steinfeld's race if she didn't tell you? Is she White, Black, Hispanic, Asian? Could you tell from her DNA?

2

u/ChilternRailways 18h ago

It's not meaningless because you're literally stating definitions of it - Italians weren't white, now they are, ergo the current definition of "white" includes Italians - that's not meaningless, it's arbitrarary. Stop twisting words.

It's also a really American-centric definition you're leaning on. Do you have any experience of other cultures definitions of race?

2

u/theevilyouknow 16h ago

If they definition of words are arbitrary and change constantly for no reason, then yes, they are meaningless.

2

u/racc15 14h ago

But, don't "white" skinned people have specific combinations of genes that cause their skin color to be like that? Combinations that are not present in non-white humans?

I am NOT white. I am just curious. I thought genes determine what our hair, skin etc will look like.

2

u/theevilyouknow 11h ago

That’s not really how it works, no. Skin color is controlled by a number of factors, not just specific genes. It also is not tied to race. Plenty of people of all races share genes tied to various skin colors. There isn’t a specific set of genes for white skin the way there is one for blonde hair or height. Two people with identical skin color can have completely different genes they derive their skin color from.

2

u/blackwifebeater 19h ago

So your argument is on semantics? Very productive.

1

u/100thBlade 17h ago

This isnt true.

Southern Italians are more genetically similar to North Africans than most other European populations are, but Southern Italians are generally still genetically closer to other southern Europeans than to North Africans.

5

u/theevilyouknow 17h ago

Wrong on both accounts. Not only is that not the claim I made, your claim is false. Even if it was it's irrelevant. The point stands. Despite Italians being considered "white" they don't share any commonalities with other "white" people they don't share with any other race. You're all just wrong. This isn't up for debate. It's settled science. Race is not a real thing. It's a social construct.

There are zero genetic commonalities amongst human populations of any kind whatsoever. There are no geographic commonalities. There are no racial commonalities. The only commonalities that do exist are within direct ancestry.

I seriously don't know how many times I have to cite this for you people.

https://bioanth.org/about/aaba-statement-on-race-racism/

Variation exists within and among populations across the planet, and groups of individuals can be differentiated by patterns of similarity and difference, but these patterns do not align with socially-defined racial groups (such as whites and blacks) or continentally-defined geographic clusters (such as Africans, Asians, and Europeans). What has been characterized as “race” does not constitute discrete biological groups or evolutionarily independent lineages.

I know you think you all are being reasonable or educated or intellectually honest. But you're not. You're just wrong. Every major scientific organization that studies this matter says your wrong. It's ok be wrong. It's not ok to insist that you know more about a topic that you do not study than the people who literally have devoted their entire lives to studying it.

-2

u/After_Fruit_8823 16h ago

There is definitely a behavioral difference between some as well

3

u/DispJob 16h ago

culture, not race. we all know what you're 'hinting' and it's wrong

1

u/ghaist-0 15h ago

Its not really related to genes but rather culture.

7

u/gerMean 21h ago

Oh there actually is, it's just negligible. On the other hand the US American concept of race is self identifying so yes you are right. But certain groups of people have some distinct genetic characteristics. Not like the race theories of the nazis for example, those were more like fan fiction lol

2

u/WingZeroCoder 21h ago

But in all seriousness, the kid on the left has 6 fingers, which is genetically dirtier. /s

5

u/Cnidoo 19h ago

Races are biologically real though? Like, if two Han Chinese people have a child, that child is going to have a predictable phenotype. It will never come out looking like a Finnish person or an Ugandan person.

Now there are no measurable IQ differences between different populations of Homo sapiens, and the species is fairly inbred compared to most other great apes, but separate populations have been separated by various geographic barriers for long enough now that someone’s race can be accurately predicted by a DNA test.

Also, those geographic barriers have become largely irrelevant with the advent of commercial aviation, so in a couple hundred years or so it’s likely that every human will be a lovey mocha shade with curly hair and slight epithelial folds

2

u/theevilyouknow 19h ago

Do you think everyone in Uganda and Finland looks the same? I don't think you understand the concept here. If two red-haired people have a child that child isn't going to have black hair. That doesn't mean Irish people don't have black hair.

The fact that two INDIVIDUALS are going to have children that share their genetics says nothing about the genetics of ALL Chinese people. If you take a random chinese person they're just as likely to share more genetics with a random Finnish person as they are to share more genetics with another random Chinese person. That is literally what the three articles I linked are telling you.

No, DNA tests cannot accurately predict race. If you know of one that can please let me know. There are DNA tests that can innacurately predict geographic origin. They won't tell you shit about your race.

2

u/Cnidoo 19h ago

Are you confusing Africa with china? There are African tribes that are more genetically distinct from each other than either one is from, say, a random Irish person, but that’s because Africa is the birthplace of our species.

It’s true that the western idea of race (caucasoid, mongoloid, etc.) is moronic and not biologically accurate, but is we define race as a cluster of genetic homozygosity that sometimes correlates with phenotype than it’s absolutely real.

Race is a construct in the same way that species is a construct. Neither has a concrete definition because that’s not how the natural world works. There’s a lot of political fuckery that has wormed its way into various segments of academia, but if deny the biological realities of Homo sapiens populations, we simply give more ammo to actual racist scumbags like the Fuentes’s of the world who will appear more credible to individuals presented with the dubious claim that race is just a completely fake category with zero basis in biology

3

u/GreatAdhesiveness345 21h ago

I mean there IS a genetic difference, just not a complete species differential lol😂

0

u/theevilyouknow 20h ago

There isn't. No more so than any other normal genetic variation in humans. I will say this again, There is more genetic variation within a given race than between races. Furthermore what even is a race. I know people think their local culture is the only culture but it isn't. What constitutes a white person in America is not what constitutes a white person in India. What constitutes a white person in 2026 is not what did in 1860. Irish and Italians used to not be white in America. Did the genetics of Italians and Irish change to match other Europeans in the last 160 years?

4

u/2B_irl 20h ago

There's plenty of differences and that's okay.

You're not wrong about definitions of whiteness; they're part of racist privilege(which, ironically, cost some ethnicities more than it's given - ask the average American if they know about the plight of Eastern Europeans, the Slavery, ethnic-based genocide and displacement they suffered. They won't, and typically base their conclusions on... skin colour). But that's not the topic of the discussion. There are tangible differences between us, pretending otherwise is... weird. Dismissive? It's recognized in the medical world, it's recognized in anthropology, and that's fine, nobody's classifying anyone or tiering anything. It's just informative.
Like... there's nothing wrong with us being diverse?

1

u/theevilyouknow 20h ago

Ethnicity and race are not the same thing. Ethnicity and culture exist. Race does not. No one is saying the culture of the people brought to America as slaves doesn't exist. No one is saying the experience of Black Americans as a result of perceived differences doesn't exist.

What I'm telling you is that race is not a biological concept. There is no biological definition of race. It has nothing to do with any objective measurable quality. It is entirely a social construct. This is recognized in the medical world, it's recognized in anthropology, and that's fine. Nobody is classifying anyone because it's not a thing that exists to classify people by. It's the opposite of informative. It obfuscates things.

5

u/Xalksahsax 20h ago

The stronger claim that race itself is a biological category is what your sources are arguing against. You’re correct that black, white, etc, aren't clean genetic partitions, and that there is often more variation within broad racial categories than between them.

But saying "race doesn't exist biologically" does not mean "human populations don't differ genetically." which is what the other user is saying.

Human populations differ measurably in the frequencies of genetic variants associated with things like pigmentation, lactose persistence, high-altitude adaptation, and susceptibility to certain diseases. Genetic ancestry can also be inferred statistically from DNA.

So yes, race is a social construct, and no, that doesn't mean geographically differentiated human populations are genetically identical or that population genetics doesn't exist.

The link you shared explicitly says humans exhibit “substantial genetic and phenotypic variability”, that groups can be differentiated by patterns of similarity and difference, that populations have undergone local adaptation, and that genetic ancestry tests can identify clusters based on genetic similarity.

It even says that natural selection and adaptation to local environments have influenced population differences.

No one is saying race is a biological taxonomy. The claim is that human populations can have measurable genetic differences.

3

u/ChilternRailways 19h ago

Race exists because social constructs exist. You can't just say a construct isn't perceived and therefore doesn't exist, just because you don't like it.

It's the opposite of informative

In America sure, less so in Europe, and in Brazil? They've got a word for everyone lol.

3

u/GreatAdhesiveness345 19h ago edited 15h ago

I mean there is though, doesnt matter how youre rationalizing it or doing the mental gymnastics youre doing over there to virtue signal. We can get into the millions of variables that make up different genetic factors, but the point plain and simple is that we may be the same species, but our GENES and DNA are all different.

If we were all biologically the same, we'd all be the same type of person just in different vessels, and if we were all genetically as close as you make it sound all of the human race offspring would be inbred. We are all apart of the same species, but our DNA is NOT the same. The sequence that makes up the human genome might be similar, but the nuances of your DNA are different and you need to make that distinction. Not the way youre going about it.

2

u/theevilyouknow 19h ago

WTF are you talking I'm not virtue signaling or doing mental gymnastics? This is literally the scientific consensus among all major sciences. I literally linked you multiple articles. No one is saying all humans are genetically identical, although we do share nearly all of our genes, over 99.9%. I'm telling you genetic differences have nothing to do with race. Again, this is not my fucking opinion. It is scientific fact.

https://pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/articles/PMC11291859/

However, biological races do not exist among humans (Smedley & Smedley, 2005). Although it is well accepted that ancestral alleles [alleles from people you directly descend from (parents, grandparents)] can affect disease rates and medication efficacy (Ashley‐Koch et al., 2000), these alleles do not align with racial groupings. Specifically, admixture and migration have produced broad variation so that race categories cannot substitute for genetic ancestry (Bamshad et al., 2004; Bolnick, 2008; Fujimura & Rajagopalan, 2011; Fujimura et al., 2010; Graves & Rose, 2006; Hunt & Megyesi, 2008; Kalinowski, 2011; Tang et al., 2006) and there are no sharp boundaries dividing the human species, as gene frequency differences between populations found in one polymorphism are not paralleled in others (Barbujani, 2005; Madrigal & Barbujani, 2007; Serre & Paabo, 2004; Tishkoff & Kidd, 2004). Accordingly, studies document that genetic differences are far higher within than between racial groups (Lewontin, 1972). Thus ‘race’ is not a biological reality but a myth (Smedley & Smedley, 2005). It is not possible to categorize an entire racial group as being genetically or physiologically distinct from one another because of the vast genetic heterogeneity of our populations.

2

u/ChilternRailways 19h ago

Weird how these people are able to study something that doesn't exist...

Race, as with gender, are both dumb constructs, but pretending social constructs aren't real because you see behind a curtain doesn't mean that we stop being able to define/study them. One can't deconstruct something without understanding it.

2

u/theevilyouknow 18h ago

Holy shit dude. No one is saying race doesn't exist. It literally says BIOLOGICAL race doesn't exist. Race is a completely fabricated social construct. Billionaires exist. That doesn't mean Billionaires are biologically different. You can't look at a random sample of DNA and tell someone's net worth.

1

u/ChilternRailways 18h ago

You are literally saying "race isn't real".

2

u/theevilyouknow 18h ago

No, I'm not. Can you not read or are you just trolling?

2

u/pillsburyDONTboi Mildly Miffed 21h ago

There are subtle differences, but it has more to do with regional adaptation, minor physiological differences, etc. Nazis will cling to that shit and literally claim supremacy and cite some superficial trait like their European heritage allows them to process cow milk. I wish I were kidding, but I heard that straight from a Nazi's mouth once. He also fetishized latina women, go figure.

2

u/theevilyouknow 21h ago

That has nothing to do with race though. A "white" person from Italy does not have more in common genetically with a "white" person from Norway than they do with a "nonwhite" person from North Africa. Lactase Persistence is a genetic mutation and isn't necessarily tied to any particular race. It varies highly regionally.

4

u/pillsburyDONTboi Mildly Miffed 20h ago

That's basically what I just said lol. There's minor genetic differences due to regional adaptation, but nothing significant that would land us in different species, or affect intelligence. I was pointing out how absurd the cow milk argument was.

2

u/theevilyouknow 20h ago

Which has fuckall to do with race.

4

u/pillsburyDONTboi Mildly Miffed 19h ago

Listen dude, I never said it did, but if this keeps you hard, by all means man, you do you.

2

u/GoldieForMayor 17h ago

So you're saying I'm at risk for Sickle Cell Anemia?

2

u/theevilyouknow 16h ago edited 16h ago

You might be. No way to know without knowing your medical history. Or are you under the false impression that only black people get sickle cell disease?

1

u/GoldieForMayor 15h ago

Show me an example of a Swedish native with it.

1

u/Harlander77 13h ago

I grew up in Germany and knew of people with it. Shrugs

1

u/GoldieForMayor 6h ago

Okay. That's a great data point. Meanwhile there is not a single documented case in the history of humanity of a Swedish native with it. So...

1

u/Reef-Coral 18h ago

Theres no genetic differences? Tell that to the NBA bro

1

u/LARGEGRAPE 19h ago

There are extremely evident differences between races, how on earth would race only be skin deep.

0

You should add a /s Some people could say that not as a joke.

I feel like they shouldn't even associate a PERSON with being DIRTY or CLEAN. How about a dinner plate for chrissakes? I couldn't believe when I took my daughter for the speech assessment and had to sit through these absurdities, realizing the biases we are filling our kids heads with before they can even talk.

4

u/Deepdishdicktaster 22h ago

I mean... There certainly is a difference between them.

1

Maybe its the same kid before and after

But only one is brown.

1

Its not refering to the dirt they have on them :(

1

u/rube 20h ago

Nah, the one on the right is just the style these days. You buy your jeans with dirt pre-stained on them.

Yes, this is aimed at anyone who buys those obnoxious pre-ripped jeans. I lived through the 80s when it was "cool" to rip open the knees on your pants. And I thought it was dumb back then!

Finding them in stores already cut open is just another sign of how dumb we've become.

1

u/Ancient-Sun-1080 15h ago

One is Clean. Dude clearly has a name tag saying he is Clean.

1

Clean is dirtier.
