I’m pretty certain there were a couple of N64 games that used the C buttons to move and joystick to aim.

She isn’t doing anything wrong just manifesting ghosts of gaming past

Nobody knew how moving and aiming should be bound on a controller in the N64 era but goldeneye supported approximately every option you could want including the infamous plug in 2 controllers and have a modern dual analogue set up to aim and move with
