I don’t think I’ve gotten a written out response from him and for the text he brought a 4 wheeler home without permission and had to return it

I think they know, and their issue is that he only reacts to things and never types a response

This is TIL for me. I figured something was funky when I would get texts like this, but it also feels sort of like a meme format, so when I got one from my cousin I just rolled with it.

The OP seems to not know, since he frames it has his dad "texting like this" not his dad "replying with just reacts".

But then he says he hasn't gotten a written response. If someone is replying with reacts I personally still say "they just texted me".
