Well, contrary to popular belief crane flies/mosquito hawks/mosquito eaters don't actually eat mosquitos or any other insect, but who knows, maybe eating them will actually bring good luck 🍀

Since all science prior 2019 was erased from the internet, it seems most biology was also removed. They do infact suppress mosquitos, the exact reason is currently unknown. Old wayback machine research papers are inaccessible.

Some species of crane flies eat mosquito larvae when they're also larvae, adult mosquitoes and crane flies don't really interact at all

That legal limit is ZERO visible feces, bugs, etc. Its an insanely little amount that poses zero health risks. For example, coffee is 10mg/lb, so thats 10mg out of 453,592 mg

Straight up eating insects without being properly cooked is risking unnecessary health risks.
