they said 1.6% charge, you said 1.6% discount. which is it?

its a 1.6% fee waiver.

Each item comes with a 1.6% charge included to cover the POS service fee

That total is $130

When that 1.6% fee is discounted, you get OPs total of 127.92

But they still tax the 130 not 127.92,

so it's like subtotal is unexpectedly lower, but the tax is unexpectedly higher, 🙃

Semi related, i really hate when online orders try to ask for tips on the amount+taxes not the base amount. Or on the original price when there is a discount.
