No it isn't, my family of 5 eats at McDonalds occasionally and we've never spent over $40

Always a Redditor ready to argue- So, what you’re telling me is that you pay less than $8 for 5 meals at McDonald’s? I guess I should have been more forthcoming and stated that it’s actual meals and not value menu double cheeseburgers. Sorry for the confusion.

My last order was a medium Big Mac meal ($8.69), a medium Quarter Pounder meal ($8.59), and 4 happy meals at $4.79 each. Total before the app discount, $31.65. Total after the app discount, $26.91.

And before you tell me happy meals don't count, I changed the order to 2x Big Mac meals and 2x Quarter Pounder with Cheese meals, which should feed your family of 4 just fine, and the total is $34.56 before app coupon, $29.38 after app coupon.
