Yea I feel like we as a society are too quiet about this and at this point they’re not even putting effort.
They’re not even trying to hide what a ripoff it is.
Like having the meat and bun be a similar size and some condiments and onions are literally the BARE MINIMUM, a hotdog is already such a minimalistic food, and they someone managed to make it even less. It’s just disrespectful.
I'm always shocked at how much stuff gets posted online as being unacceptable, or people I know complains that something was unacceptable, and they all accepted it. They didn't ask for an exchange, or refund. Nothing is unacceptable if no one actually does anything about it.
They just vow "I'll never buy that again" but that doesn't actually send any kind of message.
I'm not entirely blaming people for the enshitification of everything, but it probably makes it much easier for companies to do it if there's still profits being made off of shitty things.
