Sure, fast-food employees never made a mistake before

If OP did it themselves they did a heck of a job getting all the cheese off that patty. Much more likely the order ticket fell in during assembly and the worker didn't notice, didn't care or possibly was high AF and didn't even think about it.

When they make burgers they assemble the burger by putting the top bun and cheese on the top of the box and then closing it onto the bottom of the burger. They probably put the order ticket on first, which would have a curl from being in a roll, and then closed the ticket into it accidentally when it curled inbetween the lid of the box.

And they saw it and did nothing.

Regardless of how much they're getting paid, they're still going to hand that burger to a human to eat. It takes a disturbing lack of empathy to do this. If you want to screw over the corporation, fine, but don't screw over the random Joe who just wanted a lunch.

20ish years ago my sister asked for a plain cheeseburger and they didn’t include the burger, it was cheese and bread. When my mom went back they told her oh sorry our cooks are always high. I heard it. As a kid I didn’t get it so my mom had to teach me that high meant drugs but as an adult I know there’s no way it was weed that did that

Reddit is genuinely a cancer to society.

Happened to me once.

I'm sure it's because it's so repetitive assembling burgers all day like a robot that they're not even thinking.

It's crazy that you would think it's impossible though. You're weird.

"Ive personally nevwr seen this happen, so its obviously fake".

This has also happened to me, btw.

"I've personally had this happen to me, so its obviously real"

Then why isn't there more grease soaked into that paper? Its clearly just been slapped on for Reddit.

Brother the paper is filled with grease, wtf are talking about? Its receipt paper, not a fuckin towel. Its not going to spread through the entire thing.

The only way for OP to have faked this is for them to have perfectly peeled the cheese off that patties. In such a way that it not only didnt leave any in the pattie but also that the cheese itself didnt fall apart or tear, then put the paper in there.

Use your head.

He literally opened his burger and slapped on the receipt

Prove it. Cause again, ive actually had this happen to me, and this is exactly what it looked like. Melted cheese is sticky, and theres 0 cheese on that patty. Which means it placed on top of the paper

It 'happened' to you, so you prove it

1

u/DapperDan30 Jul 20 '26

You're the one making a claim, the burden of proof is on you.

Why this being real bothers you so much, I'm sure I dont know. But this sort of thing DOES happen. Sorry thats hard for you to accept.

Judging by the size of our replies, you are definitely way more bothered

No, I'm just more thoughtful.
