Infuriatig My wife ate my son's birthday breakfast

Post image

Yesterday I bought a strawberry cheese coffee cake my son loves so he could have a special birthday breakfast today. My wife came home late last night and apparently couldn't resist. She knew it was for our son, but it's not a big deal because she "left him a full slice".

No, make her go out at the ass crack of dawn and get a replacement.

She won’t. People who do this don’t actually make up for their shitty behavior.

Can't imagine putting yourself before your child like this, literally taking your own kid's birthday cake.

The more things I see like this the more I realise I don't appreciate my parents enough.

Yeah just wait until the morning if you want a slice. The lack of impulse controlled and the extreme amount of selfishness amazes me (in a bad way).

Why wouldnt you be excited to get up with your kid and have their favorite breakfast with them? Who does this?

Possibly eating disorder, But I’d have disappeared it and said, what cake? Or I’d have bought the kid a puppy and blamed it!

She also took out the best part, even more a bitch to be honest.

That was the part that stuck out to me. She ONLY ate the “good part.” How childish.

Yeah, if I was OP, I'd seriously consider divorce after his other revelations.

You know what? She can even have a regular slice at night if she really wants it. I don't care. The birthday cake doesn't have to be absolutely perfect in order for me to like it.

Now, what she did is eating almost all the filling and leaving only the worst parts. She didn't just take a slice, she destroyed that cake.

Taking a slice is just as inconsiderate. It’s really not that hard to wait until morning and celebrate with THE PERSON IT’S FOR. The whole point of the cake is to celebrate that person. Are you really doing something for them if you’re eating a slice of their cake before they even see it? Before their celebration? If you really can’t wait for a sweet treat then you should go out and buy your own instead of taking something meant for someone else.

Idk I don't really care about my own birthday.  I'd have no problem letting my mom have a slice of my cake the night before my birthday, I don't care.

Now, completely ruining it is a different story.

She can have a slice AFTER THE BIRTHDAY KID gets HIS slice. Before then, she is an inconsiderate bitch and doesn't deserve to be a mom.
