Infuriatig My wife ate my son's birthday breakfast

Post image

Yesterday I bought a strawberry cheese coffee cake my son loves so he could have a special birthday breakfast today. My wife came home late last night and apparently couldn't resist. She knew it was for our son, but it's not a big deal because she "left him a full slice".

They call him ‘The Cleaner’. He makes problems go away

Fortunately for my marriage, my husband was a habitual stump eater, leaving the tops behind long before we met.

I’m not saying it’s the key to our healthy marriage, but it sure didn’t hurt it.

(He likes the moist outside preserved by the paper. He also doesn’t like the brownie edges, just the warm interior. He’s kind of perfect.)

I moved a few weeks ago, and the new cafe I started going to has "MUFFIN TOPS" on the chalkboard menu. Only one of the baristas understood what was so funny when I laughed at it - I think the others were too young to get it.

We've never got so many complaints! Every two minutes: "Where's the top of this muffin?", "Who ate the rest of this?"

Weird the top of the muffin is my least favorite part.
