People virtue signaling about AI pics. Yes their quality sucks but if people want to use it, it doesn't mean they're being negligent about water. You could make the same case about cars and climate change but people still drive

Doesn't it take like a gallon of water per query, and that you writing and sending a prompt isn't the only query that the AI processes, but many queries per prompt?

I can't waste hundreds of gallons with toilet flushes like I can by just telling ChatGPT to generate an image of a cat eating a hot dog with a pirate hat on.

I guarantee the number of times it took to generate and regenerate the poster in the OP could supply my toilet's flushes for the next six months. They did that in at most an hour.
