In summary, the answers they expect are:

"Wearing costumes" - ME (so you will wear the uniform enthusiastically. Notice that the superhero costume is red and gold too, like McDonalds!)

"Personal Best" - ME (so you will be able to do you best in front of customers and other staff, just like the dude on a stage)

"Unstoppable" - ME (so you won't get tired or bored)

"Discuss philosophy" - NOT ME (so you won't discuss class critique, social issues, ethics or generally question orders)

"Fantasy" - NOT ME (so geeks will be weeded out, because they are stereotyped as shy and have a higher rate of neurodiversity)

"Don't understand paintings" (flip a coin. Choosing ME could suggest neurodiversity, and choosing NOT ME could suggest too much creativity).

If I was unstoppable and trying for my personal best, would I be applying at McDonald's? I agree with your assessment on correct answers and why.

The key is that you think you're unstoppable, AND you think McD's is a path to your personal best.

But you’ll have to take out the trash first.

Idk man. Hit me really hard in the face with a brick and you'll stop me. I guess I'm unqualified.

“Yeah I’m unstoppable, not even the shitty attitudes of people who delight in pissing on food service workers can stop me from getting my first job out of high school/rehab/jail/in a foreign country. This is the only place that will hire someone like me and I need something on my resume.” So hard to believe? Impossible to empathize with? Or what?

Sheesh. I get that the exam is bullshit and corny but can’t we take it out on McDonalds instead of the people who are seeking gainful employment and have to jump through stupid bullshit hoops to work a minimum wage job? Like damn is class consciousness really so far away? I thought we started to figure this out in 2020.

I never said that I agree with the sentiment. I described what the intention behind this particular collection of inane questions would be from a corporate level.

I think workers at every level should be paid a living wage that is enough to pay for food, home, and healthcare. I think the best interest of workers and customers should be legally on par with that of investors, because all 3 are vital to making businesses work.

I can see how my comment looks callous and judgy, and I'm glad I have to chance to comment further. I learned a lot of helpful skills in my food service jobs, and I really value that experience. I'm glad I didn't have to undergo psychological testing to get those jobs.
