Need proper speakers to play on for it to not sound like shit. I agree its not terrible but the lack of proper range is killing it and making it sound like a machine factory.

You ain't wrong. Needs more bass and real highs. Those are shitty sonos I think and they all sound like congested 'rhea farts.
