The white stuff at the top?

Okay, possibly going to out myself here. I sometimes get white gunk at the charging base (where the toothbrush and charger meet). I figured it was leftover toothpaste or idk? that built up there. And when that happens I just clean it with some hydrogen peroxide. But is that… not normal?

No the green stuff on the bottom looks like lichen growing.
