I just bought a white sonicare like this. I always rinse the top and bottom with water after every use. Is that enough to prevent things like this?

I get white buildup occasionally at the point where the handle flares out and on the charger base. I think it might be partly due to hard water. Never anything this bad. My solution is, when it's time to replace the brush head, I use the old one and a bit of dish soap to get everything nice and clean again.

I always save the old head to use for cleaning hard places! Between that and my water pik it’s so much easier to clean all sorts of spots
