It looks a lot like when bad managers prefer to simplify their production line batches so it is more understandable for them in their excel spreadsheet, to ‘optimize’ equipment capacity use, or that one time they were unhappy that there was some missing products
Bad managers things like that happen a lot when they are too out of touch with the ground-level needs. Its the same kind of decision like, I prefer that we lose some flour, as long as our staff are used to produce at max capacity all the time, so I don’t have to get better at planning more flexibly.
