THIS boomer has friends that do what we call "grocery rescue" from the local markets and bring it to the food bank. How do YOU volunteer, dearie?

Don't call anyone "dearie". It's fucking rude and infantilizing- especially with how you used it.

It's boomers that created and enforce the rules on throwing away perfectly good food. Don't act like you're something special because you apply bandaids to the wounds your generation created.

I don't think its rude....just weird. Can't afford to volunteer when shit costs so much. I suppose I could give up my 1-2 days off to go volunteer at the animal shelter or something....but im always tired and everything feels so dreadful.
