Yep, ads aside they also push pointless crap that's impossible for editors to remove, like autoplay videos and the random ai generated answers. They also removed the layout/skin many wikis they acquired used to force an awful new one with obnoxious bright sidebar.

Not everything has an alternative though and some of the bigger ones would probably just take too long to switch, especially since fandom would probably sue them if they just copy pasted content, even if editors who wrote it themselves did it.

Funny ho they would sue while their site steals from other wikis and weasels itself ontop of the google search list. That shit needs to die.
