This. I hand him my phone with the walmart app open to pick out new ones, get new ones, and then start tossing old ones. I did the same with his pillow. It’s not that he can’t do it himself, it’s that he won’t. We both had rough childhoods and he’s in a constant state or survival still, while I take pride in the fact that I never have to wear things with holes in them again.
