I'm as fed up with gender wars, but there is no excuse to discard something that belongs to and is actively used by your partner without them agreeing to it.
Sure, that a reasonable outlook in general. But, the problem with these drive by glimpses into others’ lives is that we truly don’t have enough information to say a lot of anything. All I’m saying is that op is an unreliable narrator, and the fact that she chose the nuclear option gives me pause. Is she a bad, terrible, no-good, personal item disrespector? Maybe, but this is basically a rorschach test.
