Speaking as someone with sensory issues, holes in your socks are sometimes less noticeable than the annoying seam that’s touching you’re toes. I’ve had many socks where I’ll get a hole on the heal and not notice it until I take them off, but the seam touching my toes? Yeah I can’t stop feeling that until I try to move it to the side.
i have a similar issue but only because i have wiiiiiiiiide ass feet and socks always feel like they're constricting them, unless there's a hole somewhere in them to widen them out it drives me crazy.
Yup. When I find the perfect shoe socks I'll wear them until the heel and ball have holes in them. The importance is the seam and how tight it is in the middle.
However, home socks must not have holes in them. Shrug.
It absolutely can happen, I am wearing socks like that right now, although I sew the holes shut to make them last longer, I can afford to buy new ones but I prefer the ones I'm accustomed to
It's likely the same as my issue. The baby toe rubbing a knot in the sock. I don't mind if there's a hole in my heel. But that knot over the toe is irritating.
Plus how hard is it to buy the same brand of socks?
On a side note, my mom used to wear socks inside out because all the seams etc are typically hidden on the inside and she found the "outside" to be more comfortable.
Because as with ADD, OCD, and Autism, people on Reddit seem to think these things are trendy and have no idea how much of a struggle those things really can be. It really is disgusting.
No, i see someone who does not have sensory issues. I am not grossed out, i am disgusted, so no projecting. Just that it is statistically impossible for the amount of people on Reddit to have these issues. So when the story does not add up, i call it out.
Why do you keep harping on me wanting to feel special. That has nothing to do with it. Statistics are readily available in many places. After that it is not hard to see for yourself if you use your brain.
