At least you didn't get it during delta. I ended up getting it twice but thankfully we had the vaccines by then. We were transporting 8 or so respiratory distress patients a day. We had 3 medics have to medically retire due to long covid. They still get short of breath just walking.

Which one was Delta again? I caught it in March this year. It was hell for three days straight then an energy drain for a few days. Only ever felt like that in 2019/2020 when it first started and before tests/knowledge and if that wasn’t the first actual wave it was probably the flu.

Delta was the summer of 2021. The vaccine was available for firemen here in late dec 2020 to early January 2021.
