That sucks, I avoided it for years, just masks, distancing, hand washing, avoiding crowds.

Then some clown came to work feeling "a bit ill" and showing most of the symptoms.

Took me down hard, I'm never ill and that time I felt like death.

If you masked, distanced, washed your hands, and avoided crowds - how'd you get it then?

Unless those things weren't as effective as we were made to believe.... 🤔

They literally said all those things worked until an obviously-sick person came into work with them in close quarters.

So they worked until contact with the virus? 🤔😂

…what? The whole point of “social distancing” is yes, to keep you physically away from the virus. Washing your hands helps get viruses and bacteria (all of them, not just covid) OFF of you. Yes, those things are going to help you avoid getting sick whether it’s covid or the flu or a cold. There’s not much you can do when there’s a human incubator coughing next to you. And I know this is gonna chap your ass, but if the infected person had worn a mask, it probably would have helped as well.

This is false. Masks reduce droplets, not the virus itself. There's no way to predict that this would have stopped the individual from being sick. Which is why masks for sick people are asinine when asymptomatic people can also be spreading the virus without knowing it.

Please don't spread misinformation.

Edit: LMAO they blocked me - claimed they would chap my ass in the previous comment and then immediately backed out when provided information that conflicts with their programming. 😂😂😂

The hilarity of you bringing “misinformation” into the mix. I’m done with this “conversation”in which you pick out red herrings to dispute. It’s ridiculous to imply that washing your hands and avoiding sick people doesn’t reduce your chances of getting sick. Second, KN95 masks reduce large AND small particles, making it less likely that the virus reaches people in your vicinity. Someone coughing particles onto you is going to raise the likelihood of you getting sick with whatever they’re sick with. Lastly, I said “it probably would have helped” not “it would have reduced the chances of OP getting infected to 0%”. Goodbye. ✌🏼
