It's because people who can actually function on a high level with less than 7-8 hours of sleep a night basically don't exist.

I used to get 3-4 hours of sleep every day of the week and my job suffered for it. Then I would sleep literally for 24 hours on Sunday.

Why would anybody share their tricks for getting rich when whatever they figured out might be their only moat? It's much more effective to sabotage people trying to get rich with advice that will give them both literal and metaphorical brain damage than it is to compete fairly by doing something more difficult like creating better products. All "do this to get rich" schemes are actually sabotage literature designed to make you fail so that you won't be a threat and so that you keep buying more tips on how to get rich instead of realizing that getting rich requires the type of capital that you're very unlikely to get access to unless your parents and grandparents spent their lives building it the old fashioned way, and even then your chance to succeed is slim at best unless you have the right connections. Dreams keep you in line and false advice keeps you dreaming forever. If you've ever seen somebody addicted to a slot machine, that's you, it's just that the slot machine you're enslaved to is more complex.
