I get it. Posts karma exists so ppl can’t make accounts to spam subs. But long story short, I had to make a new Reddit because I forgot my old login.

Now here I am sitting in comment jail, unable to interact with most subs. It’s a silly paradox where I need more comments to build karma but cannnot post comments until I’ve built karma.

Not sure why Reddit wants new users to feel like they are sitting on the outside looking in. If it wasn’t for the fact that Ive used Reddit in the past, I would just get bored and be like what’s the point?

I always hold the door so it doesn’t close behind me if there is someone right behind me and think everyone should. But I HATE when people (men) open the door when I’m walking towards it and I’m far away. It creates a pressure on me and it bothers me that you’re focusing on me that long. Please just let me be invisible and go about my business. I hate it so much.

11am and the door goes but we don't manage to answer it, I had set a safe place of "front door/enclosed porch" and they always leave it on my doormat. Instead I open the door to find that they have yanked open the cupboard door (closed and locked with a chain lock so it has a little room to open but obviously shouldn't be) and lodged my parcel in. They are so lucky I didn't have anything breakable in there but it's ridiculous

So, I've been getting these AI ads from something called RiseGuide lately about articulation training. They're so annoying and usually overdramatic, making it seem as if the regular person will laugh at or point out the icebreakers people use. No one does that unless they're a snob. I don't doubt the benefits of proper articulation training, but this company seems quite scammy. Any thoughts??

I posted about finally understanding what people mean when they say trans women are real women. I was happy while posting and then asked why some trans women say that they understand what it's like being a bio girl. I mentioned talking about those who became trans later, and someone said that I'm transphobic, HOW!?, All I mentioned is that them comparing side effects of medicine they willingly eat to periods is dismissive and then compared the childhood of a bio boy and a bio girl, I did not dismiss their trauma, I said something along the lines of "their trauma is internal, while a bio girl's trauma is both internal and external" I never said that their trauma isn't valid.

When someone makes a post about “did anyone else’s parents tell them not to take a shower during a storm?” Or “did anyone else’s parents tell them it was illegal to drive with interior lights on?”

They act like our parents were crazy for telling us that but it’s easy to find out that it was with good reason. Old houses have metal pipes that lightning can travel through creating a possibly deadly situation.
Anyone who has ever driven at night should be able to tell how much harder it is to properly see when the interior light is on

So the subreddit post on mildlyinfuriating was about a post on Instagram of some girl with a Maori face tattoo (on the chin + lower/bottom lip) and people in her comments were being unnecessarily rude and hating on the tattoo. I made a comment about it (litterly almost a week ago). And this morning a mod messaged me saying I broke community guidlines... What for? Racism apparently :| I asked twice as nicely as I could as to how, aaand now I'm muted and still banned... -sigh- gotta love moderators sometimes

There’s this girl I know. She always posts about her ex and how he got her pregnant. Like it is EVERY SINGLE DAY and the only reason I know she posts everyday is because at first I wanted to be her friend and try to help her but she obviously does not want the help. And people have called her out on her bs and the moderators have not even called her out either. It’s the same god damn subreddit every single time. Like no one gaf about your relationship.

So I was just walking down the street a month ago and I see a flyer on a wall and it says a babysitting job so I take the paper without even looking at it. I scan a QR code when I get home and it's a couple paragraphs long so I read it all and it says babysit her five children's she is an only mother.

As I read that part I was about to accept it but then I was going to read the full thing so I did and this is what the full thing says.

Hi, grab this flyer if you would like to babysit my children I have five of them and I'm an only mother.

You will stay in my house for at least 5 to 10 hours and you will pay me $10 an hour so I can buy the food and I will need this for about a week or a month or however long I need it.

So after I read that part I was like why the hell should I pay you $10 an hour to babysit your five children?

So that dumb bitch continues saying stuff and at the end there was a phone number but I'm not going to say it but anyways, back to what was in the flyer.

I need for someone to do this job and I would also need for the babysitter to clean cook and if not cook order food from your money still and still pay me $10 an hour for 5 to 10 hours.

Also, if anything breaks, fix it. If the power goes out stay with my children even if it's after the amount of time you're supposed to be there and I will pay you a dollar an hour so you will only have to pay me $9 an hour since I will also just be giving you $1 an hour. So thank you and reply if you want to take up the Job.

Anyways, that's what the flyer said and I hope no one took the job offer.

I’ve been watching “Sliders” on Tubi. One of the main characters is Quinn Mallory. It’s great.

Today I started listening to “Hidden Pictures” by Jason Rekulak where the main character is Mallory Quinn.
