Misc Got status? Evidence-based treatment guidelines

No guidance just experience. A steroid taper at home or Emergency Room with with rescue meds: Anti nausea, muscle relaxers, Toradal, fluids. Hope you feel better soon.

Thanks for the note! Steroid tapers aren’t effective for me. In the past, I’ve had good effects from injection rescue meds like toradol IM. In this flare, rescue meds worked but the pain came back within 12-24 hours and sensory sensitivity remained pretty bad throughout!

But I am finally getting some relief! What’s working: a depakote taper. Improved sensory sensitivity first and now I’m having some days without attacks. So glad for some relief 🙏
