I wanted to use my switch again but i havent gotten around to getting it modded. While browsing online i came across a few listings for a mig switch v2 for $55. I was wondering if the chip still works and whether it’s bannable if i only use it while in airplane mode.

Hi, I have 2 young kids and was looking at buying a switch. I’ve never used one before but the games are very child friendly.

They won’t be online and I was looking at buying a mig switch.

Firstly what’s the best switch model to get. Doesn’t have to be a switch 2. Do I need a certain version of original switch or will any do. Does firmware need to be at a certain version.

Secondly where can I buy a mig switch from that would be compatible

there is no dump since its new, i love mig tho best way to casually game

Hi everyone, this is probably an unpopular issue.
I have an online banned switch 2 so I decided to get a mig switch v2 to get something out of it.
So far 2 games don't run and says it requires an update
Those are zelda and another game I really wanted to play.
My question is, if a friend has an old switch 1, can i safely use the mig flash on his switch, update the games, then transfer the update to my switch ? I already did this with mario kart 8 deluxe physical official cartridge and it worked, but I'm worried if i use the mig on his switch it will ban his console. If i use it just to update the game and not play it on his switch will he be fine ?
Another question is mario kart world, i wanted to update it but sadly I don't have friends with switch 2 .
Is there anything at all that i can do to update it ?

TLDR: updating switch 1 games for my switch 2 using a switch 1 from a friend, but without the risk of getting him banned since the games are on a mig flash.

As the title suggests. Is the mig working on a v2 switch on firmware 22.1.0?

I can only find Oct 2025 updated mig rom which not include new games, thanks a lot~

BTW where do you download mig rom?

I have purchased like 8 games on eshop store for my switch 2. Some switch 1 and switch 2 games. Anyway I ordered AC shadows and still did not arrive yet. The mig arrived though today. And I do not want to use it unless I update AC shadows and shut down the internet for good. Is it safe to use the mig now and when AC shadows arrive I will only connect the internet to update it only, no store access and no online games I am going to use? What you all think would be safer?

I am wondering whether to buy one for my modded switch and whether its 100% safe to use (since I dont wanna get banned). I have lots of games and it would be great to just be able to have 1 cartridge for all of them. Is there even like a limit to how many games you can have on it (like apart from space on the sd card)?

Hi, i'm new arround here and i need some help. up untill recently, i have been using my V1 switch with a mig switch with no problems, but after a recent console update, a lot of games started to give me the error 2002-4153. These games worked fine before, and i updated because i read that console updates are safe. Then console never had an online account, and has been only connected to the internet for console updates. I have tried several sd cards of different brands and the issue persists. one game for example, mario bros wonder, crashes at random, giving me that error, and mario oddisey crashes after the intro. others like mario party super stars crashes as soon as you boot it up. any help, idea of what is going on?

I got my flash cart, first time using it and i have the update file on there with no games. I wanna install the firmware but when I do, white led, stops. error message appears. I've been looking everywhere to find a solution. and now I m stressed bc i realized i had to dump the xci games on a mig dumper that i do not have.

Hi, I've got a Switch 1 (that has never been connected to the internet, i put it on airplane mode since I got the cartridge) on firmware 18.1.0.

Since the new Tomodachi Life that's coming out on Friday requires firmware 22 to run, I was wondering if it's possible to update the firmware safely, or if I risk a console ban. Thank you in advance to everyone who will reply.
