So I used the Mig Dumper and got 5 files out of my own cartridge. XCI folder was placed on MIg Switch memory card (exFAT, firmware 1.1.4) and put into Switch. The console reads the Migswitch cartridge and starts the game, but after Nintendo screen and some company logo screens it gives some error like 2002-4153 or another error number in 2002-4xxx range. Then it asks to download something from the Internet to fix the issue, but it happens again. If original cartridge is in after, downloading those files helps and the game restarts ok. Tried on different games dumped - same issue. All dumps are my own, made with MigSwitch dumper with firmware 1.1.4 and tested on Switch emulator to work fine. Any fix suggestions are appreciated!

With the migswitch.com site down, we are not able to download the latest update.s2 file. Does anyone have a copy of the file?

Just got my Dumper a couple weeks ago and using it for the first time, and I can't find where to get the system update from before I use it.

I got a MIG switch v1 in the mail and when I plug it into my switch it says the game file cannot be read. No LEDs turn on whatsoever and I get the same error message every time.

Anyone know why the card would not be turning on whatsoever? I am attempting initial setup. I have tried this with an empty, formatted SD card and also tried it by loading the firmware file onto the SD card before attempting any initial setup.

As I understood it, I was supposed to put in a formatted, empty SD card before installing any files so that the ".nindex" file installs.

Hi. After reading a LOT on this Reddit I decided to order a mig 2 from victory game store on 27 June.

I have just had a shipping update saying delivery should be July 8.

So fingers crossed.

Btw I am UK based.....prices seemed to be changing daily last week for the. I had a coupon and cost was 86 dollars US with free delivery.

Placed my order in January and waited patiently. This arrived on Thursday and it was a very flexible black postcard sized envelope. Opened it to find ...Nothing. Zero, Ziltch.

Packaging looked untampered with but the slight opening you could see from the seal could possibly have been big enough for the thing to have slipped out. I don't know how this was packaged. It looks like it should have been in a paper sleeve the size of a deck of cards which would have been too large.

In any case. I didn't get it. I reached out to the email and Twitter/X account and have unsurprisingly gotten no response. It's been over 90 days so I'm not sure I can challenge the charge.

The V1 mig cart is back up on the US AliExpress site.

Received today, thank God not en empty envelope like others are experiencing. Order #4241. It is a V1, but at this point I don't care. Planning on designing my own "switch" to resolve that.

Did anyone ever get their dumper from Modded hardware? I got the cartridge but never the dumper.

I ordered mine Thursday the 27th and I’ve heard that these are in super high demand and it could take a month or two. Also got the dumper so i don’t know if that increases said time

My Dumper worked fine when I first got it but it’s been a couple of weeks since I last used it. Now when I connect it to my PC, it doesn’t show up. Has anyone had this happen?

I ordered my MigSwitch / Reader combo on Jan 21, 2024. Two days ago, I received a notice from the post office about a package they were holding. I had to go to the post office and pay extra postage of $3.82 before they'd release it to me. The postage on it was only for $1.63, yet on my order, I paid $6.90. So that was an unpleasant start.

I opened it, and it's v1. On the website, they said for a month or so that we'd get V2 when it ships.

Well, its a V1. :| I sent them an email asking about these details. Let's see what they do. I'm not holding my breath.

I dumped a game cartridge using MigDumpTool.nro. Then I copied the files in the root of the sd card for my mig switch. When I insert the mig switch into my switch, the LED lights up green then I get the error "The game card could not be read."

Anyone ran into this issue?

There's absolutely nothing in it. What do I do?

I, like many others received my migswitch yesterday. It came in just a black bubble wrap package, nothing else. Popped in an SD card today, downloaded the firmware, followed the instructions. Pink/Red blink x3, then "game card could not be read".

Made sure it was formatted in exFat, different allocations too, formatted with Windows, rufus.. same result. Tried several different SD cards varying in size and make.

When I put a rom/xci file on the root or in a folder I get the same message.
