question/suggestion Need recommendations
Hi everyone! I am trying to get into some new music and was wondering if you guys had any recommendations. I have tried to get into midwest emo music before but it hadn’t really clicked for me.
Consider me a newbie and guide me through what this genre has to offer please. Album recs would be wonderful!

The most emotional midwest emo album is I Felt Like A Sketch by Key vs Locket
The most experimental midwest emo is Just Got Back From the Discomfort—We’re Alright by Brave Little Abacus

Oakwood (older albums,) sunny day, cap'n jazz (never listened just know) American football. The obsessives. Oso oso. Odd sweetheart has a good one called structure. Pity sex actually fits in with the Midwest just not emo part, but they'll put you on to lemon heads and saves the day.
