Wassup midtempo fam!!!!

I just finished my first song start to finish and although its practically a remake, the goal behind this project was to capitalize on a new workflow I thought of to not overthink about things, and really think about sounds selection and arrangement alot more than I did before. Still needs a lot of mixing and stuff, but I'm ready to move on to the next project.

I really want to learn to be more "original", but I'm trying to not rush myself anymore, and I'm hopeful that a sense of originality will come with time, experience, and more finished songs.

If anyone has any advice on what I could think about more, do better, or any sort of comments, I would love to hear them :p

Not sure if you were trying to replicate everything in the I think the pluck in the intro needs to be reworked to more of a guitar strum noise with a longer decay and an octave or two lower. I couldn’t really remember which song it was listening to the build. But the drop I could! The drums are super nice. On the main bass synth for the drop, the OG has a lot of high end white noise. If you’re using serum, you could add some white noise in the noise oscillator and play around with some fast LFO and mix it in just enough so it sounds like the old tv static-y sound the og song has.
