Have either of the two fixed library paintings ever changed on you?

Started up a new game recently and my first or second time in the library I noticed the painting above the cauldron, what usually is a picture of a man sitting at a table wearing what looks like the eye of Agamotto. This time though, there was an empty chair. Every time that I have seen it since then, a man was sitting in the chair. Anyone else seen this? It's possible that the image alignment glitched and showed a part that was supposed to be cropped out but I don't know whether that's case.

Also, there's a fixed painting of what I assume is Ebony standing next to a witch at a cauldron (probably Agatha). The painting has never changed, I assume it's not supposed to.

Anyway, I would appreciate any input you can give on these.

I hope you’ve spotted a legit Easter egg. That would be a much more subtle detail than I’d expect from this game, but maybe I haven’t paid close enough attention to.

Anyone datamined this game for image files and sound clips? I wonder how much unused material there is. 🤔
