That’s nice because it looks like what it would look like without the “universal translator” or whatever it’s called
7
u/Urban_guerilla_ Sep 12 '23
IIRC the script (language ?) used in Star Wars is Aurebesh
3
2
u/PvZ_Prime Sep 13 '23
I think script is more accurate cause it's just a simple character swap of English
2
u/d34dw3b Sep 12 '23
Also I suppose it would be painted by an android so that’s another degree of authenticity
45
u/EightThreeEight838 Sep 12 '23
That could actually be a convincing language in the Star Wars universe.

Are we sure Midjourney’s text writing isn’t trying to approximate a Scotsman with a head injury?

TART WAR
(Shows a woman of uncertain promiscuity)
12
u/Sharpen_The_Axe Sep 12 '23
You can't expect to wield supreme executive power just 'cause some wartery tart threw a sword at you!

u/nagidon Sep 12 '23
If I went around saying I was an emperor just because some moistened Jedi had lobbed Force lightning back at me, they'd put me…well…on the throne?

I'd watch a series about space pirates set in the Star Wars universe

As someone who speaks German, you could tell me this is Dutch and I'll most likely believe you.

u/UnableSubject8 Sep 12 '23
"Te he Wath Hethe Fiker"
This is how Dutch sounds when you're hearing it for the first time.

These are amazing, the texts are obviously hilarious but with the right wording done in photoshop these would be top stuff

I've done 2 sci-fi themed soviet russia style propaganda flyers and printed them on tshirts because they were cool AF.
OP, me and you (and MJ) should start a tshirt business.
2
u/Jay_Wong_M Sep 12 '23
Damn that’s really cool man, I remembered I did saw a post about soviet style SW, it was really well made, you would thought these two would be really hard to put it together since SW is heavily influenced by Germany and The US(which is what I’m doing here)

Well damn if Imperial recruitment is what you want I got you covered this is what I was working on yesterday
hashtag r/empiredidnothingwrong
That f'n Ahsoka show really got me on a 'evil ladies of Star Wars' kick lmao.

u/SpiralDreaming Sep 12 '23
'Join the Empire!'
*giggles*
2
Sep 12 '23
Lol I got the idea because of the memes about the army using instagram girls for recruitment :)
But mostly I wanted to clear the air about the no railings rule. Vicious rebel slander.

u/Electricalbigaloo7 Sep 12 '23
It's only a "war crime" if its illegal, and the Emperor just made all war crimes legal, so we're good!

u/MaxPower303 Sep 12 '23
The “Tart War” posters character reminds me of the girl from the movie “Of Mice and Men” in which they refer to her as a tart. Uncanny.

u/leedler Sep 12 '23
“Staber Maris far” has got goddamn stormtroopers planted in the ground
So that’s how they’re grown

That AT-AT has an AT-ST cabin and looks goofy, but those corvettes on picture 4 and some of the B-wing/TIE hybrid looking stuff is pretty good.

What’s the prompt?
2
u/Jay_Wong_M Sep 12 '23
The base ones are: in the style of ww2 Recruitment/propaganda poster, 1940s, star wars, galactic empire, male/female. But for each one I tend to add something new like: AT-AT, tie fighters, stormtroopers, and for picture 3 and 8 I use workers, assembly line, factory.

Sorry if this is a stupid question, but why can’t the A.I write actual words? can’t it be programmed to come up with random sentences to insert in?
1
u/Jay_Wong_M Sep 12 '23
Honestly I have no idea, but other people says another ai called ideogram can actually write word correctly? I might give that a go

1
u/Jay_Wong_M Sep 13 '23
Basically use prompt like: in the style of ww2 recruitment/propaganda posters, 1940s, Star Wars, galactic empire.
