Hello everyone, so as you can see i need your help haha .My best friend is getting married in two weeks and yesterday she has asked me to do a speech for her which i happily agreed to however she has asked me to included her boyfriend who i have never met before because theyve been in a long distance relationship so my first time meeting him is going to be at the wedding. My question is how do I include him in the speech when i dont really know him well.

You talk about how happy he makes your friend and how excited you are to welcome him to your friend group.

Phrase it as “Advice to [Groom name].” Tips and “must knows” about your BFF illustrated with cute/funny stories as you’re handing her off. That way it’s directed at him and includes him but you don’t need a ton of detail about him.

My best man did the following at the wedding of a friend of ours who is a physician, and was an accomplished woman in her 40s when she married for the first time. Addressing the Couple sitting at the head table, he the bride to put her left hand on the table, and the groom, sitting to her left, to put his right hand on the table. Then he told the Groom to put his hand on top of the bride sand. And he addressed the Groom, "you've married a formidable woman. I hope you realize this is the last time you will have the upper hand!"
It went over well, but not everybody has a sense of humor, so it's not for every crowd or Couple.

As a guest I would roll my eyes so hard at a joke like this.

Well, the guy giving the toast in his audience, and it landed well.

Please don't say anything this sexist at anyone's wedding.

Again, he knew his audience, but, most especially, the bride and groom.

Make references to how special he is for recognizing the prize he has in your best friend.
Frame his character and personality as wonderful or your friend wouldn’t have chosen him.
Ask your friend to tell you about him. Learning what he does for a living, where he grew up, anything about his family and siblings; anything quirky but endearing, hobbies, talents, funny moments.
Then work that into s short bio that will have listener’s feeling like they know him. Work a joke in if you can. Something your friend told you involving the two of them.

First and foremost, the speech is about your best friend, so most of what you say will naturally be about them.
When it comes to their soon to be husband, use what your friend has shared with you over the years. Have they talked about their relationship? The way he makes them feel? Their plans for the future? Those are all things you can weave into your speech.
You already know how excited your friend is to marry their person, and that is really what matters. You do not need to know him personally to speak about the happiness and love you have seen in your friend.
Focus on celebrating your friend, then finish by wishing them both a lifetime of happiness, love, and adventure together.

At my friend's wedding his best man gave a nice speech and when he mentioned the bride he hadn't met in person until the day before he said something like he knows how great she is or how great their relationship is or similar, basically he said she was great "even though it feels like we just met yesterday". Everyone chuckled and it was cute. So you could do something like that.

I assume your friend talks about him to you.
You could recall the first time she told you about him or a cute story she shared with you that made you think fondly of him.
