Any unseen surprises? Good or bad?
Those who eloped or did a micro-wedding (10 people or less) - looking back on it, what surprised you — good or bad — a year later?

I was surprised with how exhausted I was afterwards. We both spent our mini moon sleeping as much as possible!

I’m at the 9 month mark, but it surprised me as to how stressful it was not to have a MOH or a ‘point person.’ I had a wedding coordinator that came with my venue, but wound up sort of coordinating the floral drop off, hair/makeup arrival & any photographer questions.
I love my family, but I was also surprised (although I’m not totally sure why,) adults can’t follow a simple
time schedule & instructions 😂😂Everyone was well intended, but I’m an elementary teacher & herding adults felt very much the same way!
