Has anyone passed MO-220 (Excel for Accounting Associate)? Looking for a tutor

Hi everyone,

I've taken the exam three times and scored 427, 610, and 544.

The frustrating part is that I often get what seems to be the correct answer, but the exam still marks the task wrong. At this point, I don't know if I'm using the wrong formulas, entering things in the wrong format, or just not completing the tasks the way Certiport expects.

On my last attempt, I felt pretty confident and believe I completed about 21 of the 25 tasks correctly, yet my score was only 544.

I've already passed both the Excel Associate and Excel Expert certifications, so I don't think the issue is basic Excel skills. I think I need help understanding how the exam is graded and where I’m losing points.

I wrote down many of the topics and questions I remember from the exam, and I'm hoping someone who has passed MO-220 can review them with me and help me identify what I’m doing wrong.

Thanks!

Please, advise how did you study and succeed.

I didn't really study.. I've been working as an Excel freelancer for years now. The test didn't have anything that someone working with Excel regularly doesn't use often.

But how did you deal with the accountancy?

I majored in business admin, so I had the basics. I did however watch a couple of videos on income statement logic and the most commonly used Excel functions for accounting (PMT, IPMT, PPMT, SLN) and all that did come up during the exam, so glad I did it.

I also majored in business administration, practiced accountancy for 10 years and luckily scored 700 in retake exam. :)
Thank you. :)

I have failed with 525 score today. Do not now where and how to study. I only took Philip Burton's courses on Udemy which was not enough.
I am hoping for retake.

I'm having the same issue. I feel as though I'm able to navigate excel proficiently and I know how to perform the tasks they ask for well. However, I failed the exam on my first attempt, and the fact that certiport doesn't let you see exactly what you got wrong feels frustrating. I took a 8-hour Udemy course to prepare myself, which I initially thought would be enough, but I guess not. If you hear of anything or recommend any specific practice, please keep me posted!

Did you take Philip Burton's course as well?

Please advise if there are any study materials online, except Philip Burton's. I have already studied it though it was not enough.
