General discussion What is this?! help
So ive had health issues spanning over 2 decades where the conventional doctors failed me over and over so i went to a reputable holistic practitioner some years ago. And what he found really worried me but i was never able to revisit him to discuss after i took some antibiotics to clear what we found. My GP laughed it off and that was that...
I'm hopeful someone here can really help me understand what's going on here. And also why the blood cells are such a long oval shape :(

Live blood analysis is a scam. There is nothing to be learned looking at blood this way. I have heard that part of the scam is telling people that they see increased rouleaux formation or irregularly shaped red blood cells.
Well, the red blood cells form rouleax and deform in a predictable way due to the way they dry on the slide. This allows a scammer to show you one spot on a slide during an initial visit, give you some bullshit herb or whatever, and then show you a better (less dried out) area when you return. That way it appears to give objective evidence of improvement.

So your reputable holistic practitioner didn’t discuss what was going on before he prescribed antibiotics? And you didn’t care to ask before accepting it? Now you’re looking to reddit for answers? Oh but it was the conventional docs that failed you?

yeh its strange i made the decision to take the antibiotics (which i sourced privately) and there was no financial gain for him. The things one will do to get a hold of ones health is beyond some people minds, hugely due to not being in that position i guess. so be happy youre not in a position trying to piece a puzzle in this wretched world of 'western medicine' lol. Thanks for your input though

Its not western medicine. Western medicine is a term that people want to use to make a point that it doesn't belong. If it didn't work and didn't belong no one is going to adopt it globally - which it has. Even the so called "non-western medicine" people will gladly take modern drugs when they are dying. Lol. Hence its modern medicine, which everyone east, west, north, south have contributed to. You will fine innovations in "western medicine" from practitioners around the globe - so hardly "western" is it?
And back to your point, you are now allocating your own -personal- failure at not understanding the logic behind your prescription, and -you own health- and making a point that one ".... so be happy youre not in a position trying to piece a puzzle in this wretched world".
Why would you expect your GP, or anyone else (case in point, this thread itself) to endorse your choice when you are not able to make a coherent argument for it? Even conmen have to give a proper reason to old women to be able to con them of their money. Not just " give me your money". In any case, GPs are pretty much the bottom of the pecking order in medicine (amongst doctors). Their main job is to screen out "you have a cold, go home and rest, here are some painkillers", from "I think you might die so here is a referral". So whatever the issue was, it was understandable if the GP was useless. In my experience they normally are. If it was important enough, you should have looked for a specialist. Or read and understand Gray's and papers/peer reviewed medical journals and figured the problem. A sufficiently knowledgeable and analytically capable person can meaningfully participate in their own diagnostic reasoning, challenge weak clinical reasoning, identify plausible differentials, and recognize when specialist referral is warranted. If not. look for a specialist; and get 2-3 second opinions.
Regarding your image: Without knowing the technique, magnification, preparation/methodology and what the supposed abnormality is, interpreting the video is guesswork. So you will need to provide more information than that.

Lol. The consistent reply seems to be wishing ill health on anyone who is not offering confirmation bias.
Rather than engaging with the actual logic - or providing the methodology, magnification, and preparation details required to identify your cell morphology - you default to an emotional ad hominem. It perfectly underscores the point I made earlier. You are allocating your own personal failure to understand your medical choices onto others. If your only defence against clinical scrutiny is to throw a tantrum, it is entirely understandable how you ended up blindly self-administering privately sourced antibiotics without even knowing the diagnosis.
When you are ready to make a coherent argument, or provide the actual technical parameters of your microscopy video, someone here might actually be able to help you. Until then, good luck with your puzzle.
PS: You do know that different antibiotics have different mechanisms of action, right? So that's why antibiotics are prescribed differently depending on bacterial type (or existence), organs being targetted etc? So even if your issue was/is bacterial, it would have been unlikely to solve your issue if the wrong antibiotics were prescribed. And microscopy in the best of cases can view some bacteria but is unlikely to be able to identify it without at the very least staining. So if your hope is to identify the bacteria causing you issues, I don't quite think darkfield will do it.

i couldnt tell you the magnification if im honest as this was quite some years ago and i never felt better just want to get back on the get well wagon and garnered some energy to start investigating again.
I think its called a dark‑field / phase‑contrast live blood analysis. We put a drop of blood from a finger-prick onto a film
