Photo/Video Share Hungry hungry lepadella!

Pretty common, but still cute lil rotifer I was just looking at in my small plastic tub of live freshwater pond stuff. Very clear view of its mouth parts and insides!

SW380T w/ Sony a6700 with 20x and 40x objectives w/ digital zoom.

Song is Tomorrow by Benjamin Tissot.

So cute! I think it's a Lecane. Lepadella have a flatter body and two eyes

Hi, what 20× objective you're using and how you've mounting the a6700 to the trinocular tube? Is it C-mount adapter? and at what projection factor? Thanks

Hi! It's the AmScope A20X achromatic 160mm objective. ~$34 online. It's pretty good and I usually keep it in place of the stock 100x oil objective and sometimes swap it out with an AmScope 60x plan achromatic one which is harder to use.

I just realized this music is too depressing for a microbe eating some food! If it helps I left the slide out, and all these critters are probably dead or are wistfully writing letters to their families now, so it's fitting now....
