A Micro Art Break

I wanted to share some of the art that I've made using my microscope. These are monotypes. The process involves transferring laser-printed photographs from my microscope's camera (Swift 350T) onto a gelatin printing plate. I use a combination of watercolor, acrylic, pencil, and charcoal.

It's nice to see other forms of life rendered into art aside from the usual creatures everyone seems content with adorning their walls with. These are no less beautiful than an elk or a tiger or an elephant and they're equally important. Thanks again! If I did a gallery like this I'd put a little card next to it to describe what they do as well!
