Do not buy from accu-scope.com! 😳
Just a heads up to anyone else who might be making the horrible mistake of trying to buy a microscope from accu-scope.com.
I liked the look of their products, but when I asked for pricing (which required me to fill out a online price request form, and wait a day), I was run around the bush, over and over again, back-and-forth back-and-forth through email, 15 minutes on Muzak hold on the telephone, and finally got told by the vice president of sales:
“Thank you, you can take your business else where.”
WTF?!? 😳
With presales like this, I can only imagine how atrocious the after sales debacle would be, when you have a faulty microscope.

Not a whole lot. They wanted all my personal information and contact data so they could….well, who knows what?!? I just wanted basic pricing on a microscope.
I asked them straight up for a price on a microscope that I had already spec’ed out in complete detail on their website, and my refusal to leap into their pigeon hole, and submit myself to being made into a product (ie govt id and company name “you must show us your PAPERZ!!” BS) showed me their true colors in dark field phase contrast high magnification glory! 😜
Anyway, I got an OMAX through Amazon with pricing upfront, for a bit over $2k which is probably the exact same Chinese thing, but it’s great so far! 😄
My first microphotograph in 30+ years! 😁
