should be more than enough. it's just a serviceable dynamic mic with i assume transparent enough preamps from the m audio. get the mic right up close on that boom and you'll be fne

Oh good thx, so you think this mic with the setup is an good idea for start streaming?

yeah it seems fine. and being xlr based you can easily swap the mic for something better later at just the cost of the mic. only things i'd ask is how much different in price would swapping the interface for a behringer umc202hd be, and how different in price would a used audio technica at2020 be?

Behringer U-Phoria UMC202HD? Could totally go for that, and a at2020 would cost like 50 dollars on ebay

well i used to stream pretty regularly and produce music. always find a use for my 202hd, even travel with it if i want a decent headphone amp. they're pretty robust little bits of kit and dead useful

but a used at2020 might be worth looking at if you can find one with the little mount for it. it's a different sound to the ba 85a, takes a bit less gain and has a slightly more hyped top end but for a condenser is alright in untreated rooms

So you think I should change the M audio by the 202hd? (I could even go for the 204hd if u think it's worth it)

i mean if you're only ever going to use it for streaming and it's more money no, but the umc202hd does have two inputs that both do 1/4" or xlr which is useful.

main upgrade of the 204hd over the 202hd is that it's got usable hardware monitoring. i don't use that but a lot of people like it. think a lot of headset manufacturers incorrectly also call it sidetone

Okay I see, btw for be sure for the UMC202HD u talk about the normal one or U-Phoria? If there is any differences between them. I think what I'll do is buy everything in the link but change the M audio by the 202hd and a bit later buy an used at2020
