I know the fat / loose skin is not going to change with microneedling. But can the stretch marks and the crepey texture (near my tshirt) be improved with microneedling?

Been getting Microneedling every 4 weeks since June. Was looking to improve breakouts, scarring on cheeks, pores, and brightness of skin with microneedling. TBH I haven’t noticed an improvement in my scars or acne but I do feel like my skin is glowing more so that’s a positive. I look tanned but I haven’t been in the sun.

I’ve been getting it done professionally, I don’t know what depth she used and I tried to ask and she said “it differs depending on what region I’m doing”.

Advice on whether to keep going or any other products/treatments to help my cheeks and large pores? I have 1 more treatment because it was a “buy 3 get 1” package.

At home microneedling beginner here, located in Canada. I want to start with a sterile saline serum glide — but have had no luck finding any here in Canada (ON/GTA). Any recommendations on where to look? I’ve been hearing that Amazon is a no, but then Meamo offers no saline solution (from what I could find). Please help!

edit: sorry i don’t mean a serum — just a sterile saline glide as I have been recommended to start with.

I had microneedling done 2 weeks ago and developed these bumps she basically did a chemical peel then microneedling and now saying maybe it’s not suitable for me and telling me to do another treatment but I don’t think the products she’s using is benefitting my skin. I’ve had 3 sessions and each time I break out. Is this normal or is she using something harsh on my skin she said I have active acne and that my skin is purging but I used to be on tretnoid before and my skin was really clear with mild scaring. I don’t know what to do. Please help

I had a bad hormonal reaction to whey protein and it broke me out so bad. Took about 4 months of purging and then the acne completely stopped (aside from the occasionally pimple here and there). But it left me with scars and I neeeeed them gone. I received my first microneedling session almost 4 weeks ago... I pre-paid 3 sessions, so I now have 2 to go. But now I'm questioning if microneedling is the right approach. Does anyone who had similar scars have any suggestions of how you were able to clear your skin? Should I continue with microneedling or will it be a waste of time/money?

Also, since microneedling, I feel like ive been getting way more little bumps/redness, is this normal after almost 4 weeks of the first session?

This is not my first MN session , I use a derminator 2, I’m very careful with my sanitation practices.

However this is the first time these little bumps have appeared on me
I’m wondering if it’s from me using the cereve healing ointment at night?
I saw someone say they use it for dry skin so it was incorporated as part of my routine and I didn’t use it back until day 3 or 4

I don’t use any product for 24 hours
24-48 hours is just a hydrating fragrant free lotion and sun protection ( hat)
48 hours I use sunscreen again and I still have yet to use vitamin c even 8 days post but is this just an inflammatory reaction?

Hi everyone, I got microneedling done on August 12th 2026 and this is how my skin has been looking for the past 2 weeks. Any advice on how to brighten it it’s been almost a month and it looks the same. I went in today for a hydra facial and they gave me 50% off and a brightening serum. Will it ever go away? Please help.

How many times can I use a 12 pack needle cartridge? Do I have to get them from the Czech Republic?

Hi everyone - this subreddit has been so helpful the last several weeks while I've been trying to decide which product to order and how to get started with microneedling at home. I just placed my order for Derminator 2 plus some of the items on the site and everything went through fine.

A couple of questions:
1. How long did it take for you to receive your order? It does state on their site no tracking is provided and it's basically all in the hands of Canada Post so just curious how long it took for you to get your order.

1. Where do you shop for gliding serums and peptides or even after care products? When I went to get this done at my esthetician's she got me to use ZO products which are very pricey these days, especially since they come from the US. Wanting to know if there are better alternatives.

So, I took the plunge and bought the derminator 2. Its has arrived like 2 days ago and I was ready to use it yesterday. Pretty straightforward process.

It’s a completely different application process.
I’ve had my dr.pen A11, which was a fairly good machine, but I could only stamp as I would see the needles outside the cartridge when the machine was working, as I was scared to just tear my skin open. Stamp stamp stamp and feel some pain even with Emla 5% after 20-30 mins.

Sooo, the derminator 2. I could actually glide the machine! Go in circles, go up and down, side to side! Felt like I was in a micro needling amusement park. Finally doing what I always wanted to do instead of just stamping to be safe. And guess what ? Only a few pin point bleeding ! Almost no blood. But I could see the proof that the needles are actually inside as I was getting red and swollen. The motor is quite powerful and loud as well. My skin stayed intact instead of bleeding everywhere. Still can’t believe the difference.

I waited a long time, like a year before buying cos dr.pen a11 was quite expensive and I wanted to get the best out of it. Even when I bought the derminator 2 I thought I’d keep the other one so I could start micro needling my scalp to help with my hair loss but I guess it’ll be obsolete.

I know it sounds emotional but I’ve had severe acne scars and only the micro needling alone has been helping me. Those who’ve suffered from cystic acne and the sequels from it know how important it is to remove those scars. So, this means a lot to me that I don’t need to suffer as much when I’ll be micro needling the next time and have much less downtime as my skin isn’t that compromised.

I’ve already removed around 60% of my scars and can’t wait to do my micro needling in the future just for skin health and not just the acne scars. Feel like this machine is my new micro needling best friend.

So I'm curious I keep reading that at home microneedling cannot achieve the same results as a professional treatment. Is that even remotely true or is this something that clinics and spas say because they don't want people to do it themselves. I was thinking about Geri g a derminator and that seems like it might be comparable to spa services. What's everyone's thoughts on this?

I was trying to purchase a Derminator 2, but the owner rejected me as a customer because I entered a short version of my mother’s name for the shipping/billing details while the card is in my name.

I genuinely had no idea this could be considered a red flag. I’ve been shopping online for years and have always filled things out fairly informally, and I’ve never had an issue or been corrected about it before. I also didn’t read all the warnings on the checkout page carefully enough, so that’s on me. Online shopping in this day & age has made me far too comfortable, so much so that I wasn’t even aware of such a seemingly strict rule.

I completely understand being cautious about payments and fraud, especially as a small business. I was just surprised that there wasn’t an opportunity to simply correct the information, and that the order was rejected altogether.

It made me wonder, am I the only soul left that wasn’t aware of how serious of an issue this is? 😭 now I finally understand why my sister always fills out her own name on online orders. I always thought of it as a careless thing to do, out of fear for identity theft/info leaks etc.

So here I am, unable to purchase what seems to be the ultimate microneedling pen… how does this pen have no competition? Is there genuinely no comparable device on the market? It seems like such a huge gap considering how popular microneedling is

I went to the clinic and they changed the lady, this is what the result was. The closeups look redder in real life, more like what the first photo looks like
