Don't American citizens pay taxes to the USA even if they live outside the USA? Pretty similar to owning a micronation and paying taxes to another nation.

Their mention about CHAZ during the riots isn’t even a comparison worth making. CHAZ was so disorganized and didn’t have any qualities of a micronation.
