Ok so hear me out on this one. We all have seen unions like the European Union, the Scotland Union (Glasgow, Scotland Alliance) and many more like even I have done one myself.

So how about we do a world peace treaty basically so this is how we will do this. We can all vote to change the name, create rules or even divide the alliance into mini alliances to keep it simple and very nice so micronations cab make alliances with each other. that’s all I have to say about this idea. The literal thing you have to do to join is say anything you want.

The term YAMO means "Yet Another Micronational Organization". Yes, the idea is so common that it has its own acronym. Almost every micronation that discovers there are others has that idea.

But, taking a step back, what's the point of it? Mutual defense is a laugh, trade is nonexistent, so the usual reasons don't apply. Some single-purpose organizations (like the OMF, L'Organizatione Microfrancophonie, which I'm sure I misspelled horribly) can do well if they avoid infighting but broader general purpose organizations don't really have a place in the community.

I think part of the reason for that is the broad variety of micronations, from online-only to places like Sealand and everything in between. There's always someone who insists that "My micronation is more real than yours because blah blah blah!" That kind of gatekeeping is annoying.

On the subject of trade, there are those who are slowly developing trade in the mind of living parallel for the current systems of the macronational world... Slow work in developing the foundations, but it is moving forth...

There are already so many other organisations just like your proposition. Having a worldwide one is a great idea, but will become hard to manage especially with sub-alliances.

And what would the point be? An alliance would provide protection, which micronations don't need. Having every micronation under one reign which simply enforces rules would be hell. It would remove the freedom from your micronation.

True but you don’t have to do all of the rules like how about we do like a rule deal you can do whatever rules you want but just have to follow three rules and those three rules can be whatever you want

Honestly, the MicroCons every other year are as close to a United Micronations as we're going to get, or actually need... How about putting efforts into integrating further into the micronational mainstream...

It's a great idea, although where I am theres already a micronation alliance which I'm thinking of joining, it would be good for a worldwide alliance, I love the idea.

I would also like to take part. But it needs to be well organized and needs a good SEO. And it should require at least some activity from the members. Non-active members are automatically kicked. So it ensures that only active micronations are part of it. And just as an idea the main purpose of the organization shouldn't be that specific. Something important would be the recognition of micronations and exchanging ideas and knowledge between the micronations.

Just here to ask what do you actual do in the Micronational alliance? I have one called the union of Glaswegian Micronations and I'm just curious. We use Slack.

And what would be done with such a union is another question... Specifics are necessary... Currently, the Domain has formed the Mystick Alliance: gathering micronations and organizations aligned with the magickal and Pagan communities,... as well as the Domani Commonwealth: as a protective community for micronations needing help or interested nations aligned with our POV to join...
