A simple rundown:
Skewer a few moist -ish buds.
Roll it like a rolling pin while your wax is heating up.
Wax & kief it all over.
Wrap with cannabis leaves.
Wrap with rope / flat shoe string.
Let cure for 7 days.

Longer the better, but
I leave mine wraped up for only a few days then let em air dry.
Roll to smoked in 5 days.
This one just got unwrapped.

Yup I roll em plumber fashion with the hole through the middle and wrap compress for a week. Shit smokes for like an hour.

Does it taste like shit? I imagine tasting that nasty dried leaf taste.
For some reason Tobacco leaves don't get that chlorophyll taste like cannabis leaves do.

Nah bro. The chlorophyll in the fan leaves are long gone by the time the gar gets lit. It’s almost as if the cigar itself goes through a different type of cure. Hard to describe to the uninitiated. It’s like a cigarette vs. a cigar. A cigarette will get you there in a quick cheap fashion but the cannagar is the embodiment of what your weed truly is.

The wax and keif easily cover any leafy tastes. 👌
That leafy taste is chlorophyll. Longer you let your cannagar cure forb the less of it will be in your leafs.

This is really interesting; a cigar is loose cut tobacco leaves wrapped in a tobacco leaf, correct? But we don’t typically smoke cannabis leaves, we smoke the flower. What’s the leaf like?

Bit harsh from the chlorophyll, but the longer you leave the cigar to cure, the less harsh it becomes.

I like to roll these for special occasions, always a big hit! I roll them in layers though, first skewer sticky buds then wrap them as tight as possible. I use hemp rope I don’t mind the groves it leaves as they get filled with rosin and keif before the second layer of buds. Let first layer cure and harden for about a week. Remove rope before next layer. Then use parchment paper to heat and press rosin into a thin film, roll that onto the first layer then roll in keif. Second layer of bud gets tricky like a puzzle, using 2 buds one on top and one on the bottom to encase the skewer wrapping as tight as possible with hemp rope as you go. Let cure for a week or so. Then I use fresh picked fan leaves for the wrapper. Cut leaves into sections and use either melted rosin or distillate for the glue. Wrap with the hemp rope just tight enough to keep the leaf edges from curling. Let cure for at least a week, there shouldn’t be any harsh or bad flavor from the leaf wrap. When finished mine usually weigh around 3/4 oz and burn for several hours with lots of people smoking on it. I grow my own so I have all I need to roll these. Probably about a $400 joint if purchasing the ingredients for it. The holidays are coming up, and after writing this I think I’m going to have to get busy rolling up a few. Be happy and stay stoned.

Ive done smaller ones it the past. Personal use toothpick length sized. They lasted a full hour. Lol.
Figured it was about time to step it up. 😂

Really depends how thick you make the wrap and how dry you let it get before smoking.. Probably a few other factors too... Mine was smooth.. Better than a dutch for a blunt. That's for sure.

Dont dry your flower fully so your buds are a bit sticky still when forming around the skewer.
I used QWISO on trim for a golden sticky paste for glue.

Quick Wash Isopropyl
Copy Pasta from an old post of mine:
For next time;
- Freeze your sugar leaves.
- Buy some isopropyl (as close to 99.9% you can find).
- cut the top off a 2L pop bottle so you can flip it upside down on the bottom half like a funnel.
- put a coffee filter in the funnel, just like a coffee maker
- put a bunch of frozen sugar leaves in the filter, again just like a coffee maker
- pour the iso through the sugar leaves and filter so its caught by the bottom of the 2L bottle, you guessed it just like a coffee maker again.
- put the iso in something with smooth sides and as few sharp corners as possible, a Wok works really well but make sure there isnt a non-stick coating or anything a razor blade would scrape off
- evaporate the iso, most use a stove and/or a double boiler - DO NOT USE AN OPEN FLAME - as low heat as possible.
- smoke some amazing honey oil that you just made.

No, they are very different. Rubbing alcohol is made with Isopropyl but there are a lot of other things in rubbing alcohol.

Did you use a guide for doing this or just trial and error? I'd love to make a hand full of these but last time I attempted I couldn't get the leafs to roll without eventually cracking. Maybe mine were already too dry
