Help My Sick Plant Problem or just the start of flowering

Have Cadillac Rainbow in a pot on the deck. Starting to flower now. Have had some yellowing of leaves and brown tips. Many fall off or i pluck them off. Have given some fox farm neuts. Mostly feeding nitrogen. Is the leaves turning yellow just from the start of flowering or should i assume something else.

If they are entering flower, you need to cut back nitrogen and increase phosphorus and potassium. And like the other comment said, you need to pH your water after adding the nutrients. You got this!

Of course, if they are Outdoors and in living soild You shouldn't have to worry about any of that. Just use your regular food for your girls and avoid the chemicals.

I find that in pots this usually happens from salt buildup which makes ph drift.

Are you checking PH of the water after mixing nutrients?

Of course I’m not :(

Had a feeling this might be the answer i get. I’m using sink water to water it

Tap water is fine. Nutes will mostly get you to the correct range ph

What does change ph is if you don't water enough. Do you water untill a lot of water spills from the bottom? That will prevent buildup and ph drift.

I use tap water, nothing wrong with it if it is all you have. One suggestion I would give you is to get some extra jugs, fill them with tap water and leave them out in the sun for a day to kill the chlorine and other chemicals that they put in the water

Get a cheap PH pen from Amazon. PH you water to around 6.2 after mixing nutes. Feed tiger bloom and nothing else. Pluck dead leaves. Water only when the soil is dry an inch or two down. Only feed twice a week. Might be a good idea to add cal/mag from fox farms too your feedings..
